Guys,
If i were to change a new GC, i would take out my current Zerotherm and placed it into the new one.My problem is, i already stick those ramsinks into my current GC.What should i do if i peel them off?Is there anyway to get those thermal tape?Or i could use those thermal pad on sale like those from CM as replacemet? They seem abit to thick to me though..

QUOTE(HaHaNoCluE @ Apr 23 2007, 02:15 AM) this is very good, cheap (at least cheaper than the rest branded 1) n lighter... coz half aluminium... got some selling in lelong those pure aluminium version (ala zalman style) even more cheaper... n lighter... performance oso quite good (same as those aluminium zalman fan came with 7600gt) coz i use b4... hahaha... btw tumpang tanya, wher to buy gc (cheap) rams heat sink??? Yea, i agree because the price is affordable. But if you wanted a better performance, i guess there is still the VF-700cu which is full copper or even the Fatal1ty FS-V7.These should be able to support as well.. The last time i saw, there is Zalman VGA ram sink is selling for about RM30+ at LYP.You can PM moderno about it as well. If you feel its too expensive, i think there is still CM and Vantec one as well...

QUOTE(dfcloud @ Apr 29 2007, 03:18 AM) hahah. yeap i just noticed it. have pm Str33tBoY about it. rm120+rm15 for postage. ok kot. but changing to a aftermarket cooler would void gc warranty right? ive just read it on some review on fs-v7. i still got about 3 month of warranty.. Not really if you switch the cooler back to the original one in case anything happens..

QUOTE(dfcloud @ May 8 2007, 05:21 PM) now i wonder how much would it drop if i use as5 no,no, must resist! Mine didnt drop too much when i change it to AS5. Only a drop to around 5c when i change it. But its already very good to me.. Just tested the GX810 and GX710 on the 7600GS replacement i got from my cousin. Noticed that the both of them perform on par...

QUOTE(sHawTY @ May 22 2007, 12:39 PM) Yes, the HR-03 Plus is built for the G80 Cards. [G80 = 8800GTX & 8800GTS] You want it? Go for bulk section and look for hwoarang45. He's bulking it. Unreleased means it's not released yet. **Owh, by the way, don't be shocked when you see the price of the HR-03 Plus. Lol..With it being the only one out there so far, of course the price is going to be

QUOTE(sHawTY @ May 23 2007, 09:47 AM) Wrong. Check out the number of heatpipes, the design, the fins, the accessories, then you'll understand why the HR-03 Plus is priced like that. Thermalright has always been the best cooling solution, it's just a matter of how you appreciate their work. Yea, i have always wanted a thermalright product from the start and their HR-03 used to be high on my wanted list last time. But too bad their product are priced higher than most of those available out there..Not just that, they always wanted their customer to purchase more extra stuff such as those adapters and mounting plate just for their CPU Coolers etc. Not to mention you will need to purchase a fan as well which makes me drop out from my plan last time in getting the HR-03. Too much hassle and too overbudget..

QUOTE(Doom @ May 26 2007, 09:37 AM) how's the performance ?? I'm still waiting for a cooler that can replace the stock X2900XT cooler ... the fans speed that turned to max always annoyed me ... It was running at about 41c on the 7600GS when i was trying it on my com. Not sure whats the temperature on the stock palit cooler though.. This here does not have a temperature sensor. Only the GX810 have a temperature sensor. Therefore, i guess the fan is also spinning at max everytime..lol... Maybe you should get something passive like the HR-03 when TR release one for the X2900..

Hehe don't know my 7900gs can use or not XD. lol...7900GS is a different thing. I have the 7300GT with GX810 before idling at around 51c as well..

That had been posted somewhere last time. i think had been announced during the time when TR announce the 120Extreme and IFX. Seems promising but you will need some crazy speed fan to really help the copper dissapate the heat..

QUOTE(vincent09 @ Jun 4 2007, 11:00 AM) Wasai that cooler, em not good in cooler experience, those GC cooler just heat sink without cooler is it nice for cooling ??? You mean Passive Cooling rite? They are silent and good for normal usage but might not be too good for OCing. However, some cooler like the S1 or HR03 allows you to add a fan and it will perform wonders..
