yes its a good car even for a 2nd hand, just make sure its accident free, low mileage preferbly,and most importantly fits your budget.

You think 62k for 2009 vios G,is ok??

u think is this neccessary to install this to reduce the noise and heat?

others say the heat will focus at the carpet make the bonet paint easily fade out, which is true?

my 05 vios juz hit 70k km recently..gear change kinda sluggish d..can i change the ATF? toyota's ATF is good enuf or aftermarket ones like Liqui Moly is better?

how abt the brake fluid? am thinking to change liqui moly Dot 4 brake fluid as well.. any suggestions? wads the interval to change both ATF n brake fluid?

by the way,can we customers request toyota for a full service record of our car? need any extra printing charges? -.- coz bought my car 2nd hand..would like to noe wad the ex-owner change or repair.

I bought G spec so no worries on that part.
What spec did u bought?
If E, can upgrade to leather seat both front and back.
If J, cannot change the back part as the seat cannot fold 60:40.

Perhaps can look in the automotive garage to find seller selling ori G or TRD leather combi seat cover.

Better to have it install. Buy ori or OEM.
It's not made of carpet material and will not fade the paint of ur bonet. Dun know who gives this idea.
I think those ppl who say those might have bought the cheap stuff.

that's a very general query... price is about RM6k difference... other than the manual tranny... any reason why comparing only these 2 cars?

eh not really... almera was in contention cuz close to 10k diff .. (discount considered)
but hor.. the interior donut i 'si beh tahan'.
and anyway.. handling is no gud cuz long and high...so put me off...
dunno why cuz i dunno how to lipat corner oso...


but basically it's top reliable empty shell with good RV vs class c Mitsu 1.8 assembled by boleh ppl....

if whacking corners is your thing, bigger cars can whack better... B segments are never made wide anyway... i've never driven an inspira but handling wise stock to stock, definitely will beat dugong any time due to its size and weight...

you need to splurge in some amount of money into bars and stuff to the dugong to "fix" its handling...

im a vios MT driver, juz gt my vios 2 weeks. Well i never driven a Inspira be4, so my feedback for my vios is

For MT, reverse sound is really loud and can heard tyre sound, clutch very hard to control at 1st, but after 2weeks, the clutch is better to control.
for AT and MT, i think there is no much different as the engine is same, 80km rpm reaches 2.2k, same like auto, no different, juz u feel when changing gear is no as smooth as other 5 o 6 speed gearbox auto.

for FC for vios manual, full pump rm77, now blinking at 430km. 100% city drive, i frm kuching so not many highway, normal is 80 ~100km, 140km once to test the sound only.

i think inspira win in many expect in term of look and handling, but is a proton, no class like import car, ur choice, test both to decide.
jus that there will be no manual vios to test, normally only full spec like TRD or G
