After chop, walk front a bit on the left... There is a van stop infront of first danok 7-11, ask those guys there.. About 60baht per person.. The van can fit 12 behind.. 2 Infront..

Do you know what is the latest situation at the Bukit Kayu Hitam immigration counter (from Malaysia entering Thailand)?

Is it still the same where everyone lines up individually?

Or now cars have to line up one by one similar to Thailand entering Malaysia side.

Latest situation i would say like Thailand entering Malaysia. Cars line up 1 by 1. There is a different building for those who walk.

Malaysia side entering to Thai, if you have problem with being blacklisted, masuk duty free je dont work 90% of the time anymore, our officer will request your IC for checking. If blacklist, you will be asked to turn back. Should have other walkaround for this i hope someone else have an answer.

Those exiting Thailand and entering back Malaysia, what is the rate of being asked to scan your bags ? Seems very strict on my last trip 1 month ago. So if walking is the only option and die die have to carry large quantity of "souvenir" from duty free, please be aware, or unless someone else have other recent field report to add in.

I guess the jam would be worse when entering Thailand during weekends. Last time lining up individually is already terrible, now some more need to line up car by car.

Car import permit is located after you cop ur passport at THAI immigration. It’s at corner of the new building

I plan for quick 3-4 hours at Danok then back to Malaysia. Does the 7-11 shops over there still accept Malaysian Ringgit (with extra charge) as I plan to cross for massage and some drinks to buy at 7-11 only. Lazy to change money.

Is there any place in Danok, that sell traveler sim? Can I buy local thai sim instead of traveler sim?

You can buy a Thai Sim before entering the border. Few shops sell them. I got it for RM 29 for the unlimited internet capped speed package for 7 days.

I been searching but nothing positive. Previously the news mention to open 20 hrs starting on July 2017.
