from other thread, you have maxis biz too? did they offer the P1 service off the same BTU? or use new separate copper? If use same copper, that could be a problem...

Added on September 15, 2012, 10:34 amIf it's 42.x range, must be public IP. I don't think P1 would give private IP for a biz package, biz customers would be pissed. The routing to IX should be better too than home packages..

My installation just completed few hours ago. So far everything running smooth.

Problematic installation so far:
1) the most exciting installation and experience is from paultantk
line unusable, high ping. installation not completed yet.
2) klseet installation not updated in his blog.
3) csn with P1 software problem (no update)

TM & P1 contractor both consider arrived on time. After they do a site survey (landed property), installation start at around 11AM & completed at around 01:00PM.

So far didn't have any exciting issue. Like u said, quite boring actually low ping, speed range still acceptable for me since i not really a heavy user. Quite happy with their high end D-Link router. gonna speed sometime to figure it out.

no they are running the p1 service off a new BTU, running on a separate copper pair. now my server rack got all kinds of BTU inside already... 2 from HSBB (maxis bizfiber and p1 forbiz fiber), 1 from time adsl, lol.

i got public ip, but it's dynamic ip.

the wifi router looks very solid and its got decent weight... and huge antennas. but i disabled wifi in the modem as all my available WAN connects to a pfsense router, then only goes to wifi access point.

P1 careline & FB just mentioned received the report!
Already 2 wks but still no solution form P1 to fix the problem.
Very disappointed...

f*** TM company..I apply p1 fiber they tell my place full port.i saw TM people come do installation for other company unifi,I check with them still many port can used..then they kept block my application for apply p1 fiber 5mb business plan..and then when my application for p1 fiber fail..***** TM people straight call me to apply unifi 5mb biz package rm199..y apply p1 rm99 plan fiber tell me full port..and then why unifi apply for r,199 still many port?p1 u should f*** that TM nutm company to solve this buaya to cheat customer and p1...really sucks on that..pui..

note: if your address come out in the web page as available,
then u need to call cs to guide / proof to them that your area is available.

those bozos at p1 still have not replied my emails or queries about the problems im having with my p1 line that i posted earlier in this thread

i tweeted them 2 times, both times also ask account number, i replied with my account number and no reply after that, i also emailed their whatever care line email and cc the original salesperson in p1 that i applied with and no reply either.

i think they just dont give a shit after teh line is installed. i suggest to STAY AWAY FOR NOW.

I don't think they work during the holidays.
To be fair, it may seem a long time but tuesday is the first working day after your installation failure friday.

did the p1 cs mentioned your 'LOT NUMBER' is covered by P1

my case also, the street is covered by TM, but was told your LOT NUMBER not covered.

it is not question of port full or empty, the CS also told it is TM power that 'not opening all port' for all, limited for p1.

But international not very satisfying...

nothing。。。just kept tell me port full。。。but same building。。4th floor new move in can apply。。and got port。。。i apply early than them。。port full。。。they just apply at 18-09-2012。。then got port。。。funny？stupid tm hold all the port but ask p1 rent their fiber cable and pay them。。buaya company。。

The installer took back p1 modem from 1st sept,till now,no solution.
I think they not serious in the biz....
