Bro Acid.. My laptop is switchable graphic but rite now, i cant change to intel hd graphic.. huhu..

It only use ATI Graphic Card. Does anyone know how to solve this prob??

i double clicked the installer .exe but after waiting for a long time it just won't start, nothing pops out


[EDIT] i found the solution. the cause is AVAST ANTIVIRUS. disable it and your installer will run perfectly. applies to other programs which refuse to run as well

Been using dv6 laptop for like 10 months already, battery life seems to be a main concern for me. It barely lasts 2 hours with light browsing, maybe Steam running in the background downloading stuff. Background lights in 2nd lowest.

Any tips for improving my battery life?

U using Avast free or paid version?

Depend on time and which graphic i'm using.

6001TX don't have the option for switchable graphic.

Install BatteryCare and check what is your discharge rate when on battery.

^ around 2 hours is about right with that discharge rate and wear level.

Do you guys here get around the same level of battery life? Its quite leceh to carry around my charger if I just want to do my assignment in library for 3 hours++, especially since I have to walk back and forth from hostel to library due to no transport.

Edit: Is there a battery that has a larger capacity than the stock one? I remember seeing one that was pretty large that it bulges out and elevates the laptop a little.

For light browsing and music mine can last around 3+ hours with 12% wear level.

Yes, there is a 9 cells battery for our model but i don't know the price..

I haven't use AMD Official driver for months...
Leshcat UnifL 12.9 Sep4 PT05 work just fine for me.

Just installed the driver from the link above, however, my MW3 is laggy... Catalyst center is missing, right click to switch to ATI graphic setting is missing too... Any idea how to solve it?
