I bought the sinanju and age 1 normal from gamers arena.. The rest are from jusco with their 20% discount.. Which is still abit more expensive from the hobby shop.. tongue.gif too much poison in this thread.. Haha.. Cant stop my self from buying thise kits..

it's about to get worse tongue.gif we're gonna make you regret joining this thread laugh.gif
until then, welcome aboard and do enjoy your stay!

P.S. fortunately you bought your Sinanju from GA, in Jusco they're at least RM320 doh.gif
the RG should be decent since with the 20% discount it should be a little above 100? next time just save up for hobby stores tongue.gif not much point buying in departmental stores laugh.gif

IF you havent already, try to invest some cash into an affordable compressor and spray gun for your kits.

Coating and painting them makes them a whole lot better.

Makes the finish look realistic instead of the regular plasticky finish. thumbup.gif

Why would you try to recommend a compressor and airbrush to a gunpla rookie? Those are tools for advanced modeling, not for someone who barely knows the basics. Also, if you want to get rid of the plastic finish, just buy a spray can of flat finish topcoat.

Exactly, an affordable compressor and spray. Using markers and using spray are 2 different things. If hes a rookie, best way to start learning how to use one is by buying a cheap set. Nothing big and expensive, just to learn how to.

Thats how rookies learn, thats how I learned when I started. U just cant jump to spray and compressor over night, it takes practice and the best kind of practice is by starting out small.

I wouldnt expect you to know, this is coming from someone who puts work and detail and love to my kits.

Im just giving him some help onto improve his kits. Im not ordering him to.

Why are you so rude ?? As well as other members here? hmm.gif Is my location displayed ? Is it my Avi?

bro, there's no rush in learning how to build a scale model. as for me, I would have advised first-timers/rookies to brush up on building skills first before jumping to painting. sure, it's a learning process but at the same time you don't want much damage to your kits by rushing things up and might as well ruin it by a careless mistake.

thats quite some haul u got there. I would advise u to leave Sinanju last to build as thats the hardest 1 u hav out of that haul, RG u can do it 2nd to last (not exactly difficult u just nid to b more careful then the rest). As for the rest u can build in whichever order that u like, most of em r beginner friendly so no prob thr.

I would also advise u to b really really careful when u build Sinanju. Particularly its waist, the peg connecting the torso n waist is not that strong and kinda short to be honest, can b easily twisted into half. Sinanju waist cant really turn due to the waist pipe design, u can move it around to circumvent the waist pipe and u may be tempted to do so in hope of a dynamic pose but believe me its best is not to try. Also to look out for is the connection between the back main thruster and the 2 side (more awesome) thruster, those connection are tight but unfortunately they r quite small so try not to force it too much or it'll break.

Let's put it this way: you do not learn to run before you learn to walk, right?
He's just starting, let him get the hang of snap fitting, trimming and panel linings before going further into coloring ( this includes spray cans and AB ).

If he ruin his kits during AB, worst thing is he might have to scrap the whole kit, if not losing his interest in gunpla first.

If you're saying that TaurusOxford is rude, I will say you're too sensitive.

And your comment in another thread is being remembered by some of the bros here, and that includes me as well....

Try to think carefully before commenting. And I'm not being rude, cheers smile.gif

I started early last year, with MG Exia as my first kit laugh.gif

as for now I'm still doing snapfitting with panel lines and decals. as for painting, I only do minor touch-ups since I don't have that much free time to paint the whole thing, not even topcoating blush.gif

I really take my time when building my kits, and most of my builds can take up to a few days for a HG, and at least a week or two for RGs and MGs sweat.gif

You have the nerve to call ME rude after saying that I put no work or love into my model kits? How f***ing dare you...

How was I ever being rude before anyway? By trying to make you realize that Bandai making a PG Legilis Gundam is never going to happen? By trying to make sure a rookie Gunpla builder doesn't waste his money on equipment he still lacks the skill to use? How about you, when you came into the China Gundam thread with that smartass remark of "you guys actually buy these things?". What the f*** gives you the right to criticize what we buy?
