Is buying the Ex-s Gundam from G-System worth it??
@waikin
Thanx bro, the posters did make them seem cartoony but when u watch the show, some of the suits are awesome looking.

@rihuhs

Its called hoping bro , Cant a guy hope?? cry.gif  IS it a crime to hope??? IS IT
*
sure a guy can hope, but at least be realistic and reasonable. you're saying it like you're applying for a job in a multinational company started as a regular staff, and hoping to be CEO in a year or two doh.gif and what is exactly your intention of putting the last words in your sentence in capital letters??

judging by your posts, I can say you're quite new to this whole gunpla & Gundam thingy, and simply buying a PG and having all the money in the world doesn't necessarily make you an expert. even if you are, you still doesn't seem like it in my point of view. I'm no old timer and my skills are not that advanced, but if you're thinking you can simply expect everybody to agree with whatever you're saying just because you think you're right, then no point posting it in a forum. better off start your own blog or something and rant as much as you want in it.

Did I offend someone? cry.gif

it's not bad at all bro, but as I mentioned before, be reasonable. or else it'll just sound like a daydream.

okay. it's enough. I'm done reasoning with you

I think that was sometime early last year, as I also got my first RG, the RG Aile Strike there laugh.gif

damn the RG Justice price is sure tempting, but I don't really fancy the Justice at all. afraid might lose interest in a short while after buying it. looks like the money will be saved for RG Zeta whistling.gif

with so much new releases, I need to carefully choose which one should I buy.

so far my list goes like this:
- MG AGE-2 *must get
- MG Buster *maybe. dunno yet
- RG Zeta *must get

and old releases, yet to acquire:
- MG 00Q
- MG HeavyArms

maybe I'd stop buying for a while after getting these. maybe. rolleyes.gif

I already have the MG Zeta v2.0 HD Color still MIB. I was very close to getting HG Zeta and when Bandai released the teaser for RG #10, which I'm pretty sure is Zeta, then I straight away cancel. planning on grabbing RG Zeta right when it's out rclxm9.gif

i have a HG Zeta whistling.gif a bit of partsforming required though, so if bandai comes up with a way to fully transform RG Zeta i'd be very very impressed laugh.gif
btw bought the HG Zeta in the previous Litt Tak sale for uh.. 52 i think laugh.gif
*
I am well aware of that but I'm more into the MS though. my transformable MSes are all on display in MS mode, only been transformed like twice or so laugh.gif so I don't really mind at all whichever solution Bandai will come up for the RG Zeta. in my opinion to maintain the price range it might be partially transformable, but if they really make it full transformable like its MG & PG counterpart, I'd say it's gonna be very awesome thumbup.gif

I got my MG Zeta HD for RM167 whistling.gif but that was looonngg ago laugh.gif

yeap you already told me that when i said i was looking for Zeta HD a while back sad.gif still haven't found one.. but i'm less disappointed now that with 180 i may be able to get 2 RG Zeta laugh.gif but i still want to see the details, transformation, overall looks.. everything is still a mystery as of now.. but worst case scenario i'll just buy 2 and display MS and WR mode laugh.gif i don't think i'd mind as much since i absolutely love the MS design laugh.gif
*
ohh yes. gotta love the design thumbup.gif

but I'm not gonna go as far as getting 2 of them just for the sake of displaying it in both modes biggrin.gif

exactly. thumbup.gif

WR mode just stays like that while MS mode does all the action poses, so better off get the HGUC for WR mode icon_rolleyes.gif

besides HGUC Zeta got nice proportions imo

QUOTE(Rhasense @ Aug 11 2012, 06:39 AM)
Exactly, an affordable compressor and spray.  Using markers and using spray are 2 different things. If hes a rookie, best way to start learning how to use one is by buying a cheap set. Nothing big and expensive, just  to learn how to.

Thats how rookies learn, thats how I learned when I started. U just cant jump to spray and compressor over night, it takes practice and the best kind of practice is by starting out small.

I wouldnt expect you to know, this is coming from someone who puts work and detail and love to my kits.

Im just giving him some help onto improve his kits. Im not ordering him to.

Why are you so rude ?? As well as other members here?  hmm.gif Is my location displayed ?  Is it my Avi?
*
bro, there's no rush in learning how to build a scale model. as for me, I would have advised first-timers/rookies to brush up on building skills first before jumping to painting. sure, it's a learning process but at the same time you don't want much damage to your kits by rushing things up and might as well ruin it by a careless mistake.

Let's put it this way: you do not learn to run before you learn to walk, right?
He's just starting, let him get the hang of snap fitting, trimming and panel linings before going further into coloring ( this includes spray cans and AB ).

If he ruin his kits during AB, worst thing is he might have to scrap the whole kit, if not losing his interest in gunpla first.

If you're saying that TaurusOxford is rude, I will say you're too sensitive.

And your comment in another thread is being remembered by some of the bros here, and that includes me as well....

Try to think carefully before commenting. And I'm not being rude, cheers smile.gif

I'm with you thumbup.gif

QUOTE(Silversky13 @ Aug 11 2012, 08:41 AM)
agree .....

when you start fixing gunpla? bro

*
I started early last year, with MG Exia as my first kit laugh.gif

as for now I'm still doing snapfitting with panel lines and decals. as for painting, I only do minor touch-ups since I don't have that much free time to paint the whole thing, not even topcoating blush.gif

I really take my time when building my kits, and most of my builds can take up to a few days for a HG, and at least a week or two for RGs and MGs sweat.gif

even up until now, i've probably built over 50-100 kits and i still haven't used my AB.. i've only just started painting up small details, and even then i'm a bit scared of ruining my kits still.. needless to say my AB will be in storage for a bit.. and even then it's just a beginner AB set.. the money spent there is better saved to buy another kit to practice on, or even some markers to learn lining and detailing first, get the hang of things THEN learn how to AB kits to your liking

I tried to get into painting my kits, but it's just not for me. I think i'll stick to clean build with decals and battle-damaged kits for when I want to get adventurous. Might as well put that Dremel to use, right? smile.gif
*
I like my MS in showroom condition so a clean build is totally my thing biggrin.gif

RG freedom batter oh Mg wing batter if one to buy one?

about the AB i think is lot of work just to clean the head, the ink will get stuck .....
*
oh, you mean "better"...? doh.gif

both are great looking kits imo. it maybe comes down to your budget (about RM90 for RG Freedom and RM130-140 for MG Wing)

how are your experience with gunplas? how many MG/RG/HG kits have you assembled?

i don't have any MG so it will be my fist

rg i have 2 units

3 hg that's all

so not sure is it good to fix MG
*
usually I would recommend to build an MG first before trying RG, but seems that for you it's the way around laugh.gif

since you already mentioned that you didn't have any MG, why not try out the MG Wing? brows.gif

Added on August 11, 2012, 3:22 pm

you can also check this link out for WIP/review on the MG Wing. it's a review for MG Wing Ver. Ka, but it's similar to the MG Wing EW Ver. wink.gif

wooo nice ... is the price rage around 130? for Ver ka?
*
both Ver. Ka & Ver. EW is similarly priced between the RM120-140 range, but you might want to avoid Ver. Ka if you're not really a big fan of tedious decal jobs. Ver. Ka kits are well know for having TONS of dry transfers and clear stickers sweat.gif
