its actually an e-book file,i bought at lowyat.but no software in the cd can run this file.nevermind la bro,i jus go search at the internet.

sorry for being harsh but simple stuff like this u can just search the net lor, no need to ask here 1st. just type in google lit files or *.lit files...

btw, i did as above & found it's a microsoft reader that's needed to open the files. simple as that. which u could've done before

i hope this is the right thread to ask, cos my boss just asked me today, where can get cheap dopod 818pro repair service?

seems like her speaker is not emitting any sound, and official dopod service said her mobo is spoilt, and to replace it she needs to change it at 900++

would appreciate if any1 here can recommend some1 reliable and cheaper so i can recommend it to her.

b4 u change the mobo.try get one earphone jack.try put in n put out first.coz some o2,had problem,that the phone thinks the earphone jack still intact,so the speaker no sound.might save u hundreds of ringgit

fr wat i knoe, if you bring ur dopod to its authorise service centre, they always quote mobo rosak, let me tell u a secret..........its earpiece is the same as a Nokia 8250 (repair cost inclusive of part rm25~rm30 )

it's easy to replce the loudspeaker, i've done it, or can try put some tissue between speaker & speaker cover. for parts, goto www.phoneystore.com, run by a guy in xda developers. bought my case & speaker thru them. quite cheap even comparing 'local' stuff

hi, juz buy 2nd dopod 818 pro. still using wm5. somethg i wan to ask . y my dopod memory program usage is 16mb+ , even i my running program is blank ? n it is safe to overclock it ? thanks in advance

i got a big problem with my 818 pro (prophet)
which install this prophet touch IX..

i done a Hard reset...(before that my WIFI already cannot on- that`s why i soft-reset, then cannot fix..then hard-reset)
then i set up everything...
then, i cant connect to WIFI

which i always see the "network adapter" in the configuration part...

questions to ask,
1. is it my setting with IP address, DNS?
2. is it my registry there need to set?
3. i saw the default name is SDIO WLAN wireless adapter, but inside the registry there, i saw the name is TNETWLN1.is that correct?

i got printscreen all the registry part....will upload later.


everything works fine except this WIFI things....which i got a WIFI phone, but
i cant use the WIFI.....very upset...

hello everyone, i'm new here but my 818pro is ending the SiS warranty in March. the same problem here, cannot access any wifi spot. these are my questions if any of you generous guys/gals can answer, i thank you

the situation:
1- i turn on the the wifi icon in CommManager in Wifi Area
2- The "notification" pop-uped and initialing the wifi secured/insecured
3- then i choose insecure/secure? whats this suppose to mean?
4- choose internet/work? whats this suppose to mean?
5- then, Passkey required... what is passkey when all i know is wifi is free? should i ask the passkey from the router owner?

i think, the idea of wifi is one touch button and hello internet!

big Q:
do i have to set the IP adress, what adapter, this and that to acquire an internet connection. example, if i go to starbucks, will they give me the list of what thing to do to connect to the wifi?
