Well, unless the GSM LED is not working if not you would and should observe if the LED is blinking. Worse come to worse, the air crew will ask you to keep the phone only la..or the phone might just cause the whole plane to crash and burn only lor. Hee Hee~

i just got problem today. my dopod carnt synchroniz with my pc. last time it was workin perfectly. i reinstall activesync 4.1 and soft reset my dopod back and still got the prob.it just connecting and nothing came out. i just check my cable and setting for my activesyn and its all ok.. some help plzz

ohhhh got dopod club ere......i just got my dopod 838 but stupid me don know how to add on software.....everytime load say is not for this PDA aiyooooo ,.....

can anyone ere teach me and tell me why.....really headache liao

firstly the software have to be WM 5.0 compatible. Just download it to your PC and run the software. Next time you sync your dopod, it will install automatically into your dopod. Or alternatively, some sites allow you to download directly into your dopod.

that is the problem seem there are rarely wm5 software now......onli few useless one.....looking for fax software now

FIELD REPORT 2:

Conditions are getting colder here... right now about -4C and last night was around -10C.

I just noticed another strange issue. I was taking pics with the 818Pro a couple nights ago in the cold....basically with the phone being exposed to the freezing cold. The thing was working like normal...snap a pic...snap another pic....occassionally turning off the camera to conserve battery...and a few pics that I recalled taking went missing in the onboard memory!!!

Arghh! Speaker no sound coming out lar....blady hell...hv to go to shop to check and send for repair...anyone else facing similar problem??

i also facing speaker dont have sound .. but it only happens when someone rejecting my call .. what i have to do is just give a misscall to anybody .. and wallah .. the speaker works again.

818Pro Rom Code(Shipment Version)

Dear Customer, please check the list items blow before you update the ROM Code:

1. Make sure the battery have at least 50% power.

2. All data and software that installed will lost after update. Please backup the data first.

3. Please close all programs when running the update utility.

4. Don't unplug the cable when the update process is running. It will cause the device cant boot up.

5. After finish the update, reset the device.

The 818Pro Rom Code(Shipment Version) is the original ROM that the 818 Pro was originally shipped with. Just download the file, never know when you might needing it.

By the way, had anyone here facing this problem, when I use USB cable to sync with my 818 Pro, my laptop's Wi-Fi got disconnected and can't access to my router. I have to unplug my USB sync cable then my Wi-Fi can work, now have to use BT to sync with my laptop. I suspected the USB driver for the 818 Pro doesn't like my Wi-Fi driver or the hardware on my laptop.

currently, there is a some sorta IT-week in Mid Valley right now until this Sunday.
i have been surveying for a dopod 818pro.. then i saw one.. they are having a promotion.. selling at RM2588.. free a Qool Cradle Audio + Sync + Speaker and a memory card upgrade..

is that worth to buy?? but the sad thing is they have only the pink, lavendar blue and another color.. no black or silver..

As sometimes my 818 also dun have sound, which i did a soft rest then back to normal.
