QUOTE(drpsyko @ Oct 30 2014, 04:35 PM) Chill~ The right picture is only what Agito think is anatomically correct, is it really? Did he explain anything what is wrong and what is to him correct? What I am saying is he just liquified your artwork to his own preference, nothing more, and in my opinion a bad way of pointing out mistake if that's what he intended to do. |

QUOTE(seba @ Oct 31 2014, 05:08 PM) Chill~ The right picture is only what Agito think is anatomically correct, is it really? Did he explain anything what is wrong and what is to him correct? 1) yes, that is my solely opinion of what i think is "correct"What I am saying is he just liquified your artwork to his own preference, nothing more, and in my opinion a bad way of pointing out mistake if that's what he intended to do. 2) yes, only liquify, since i only want show my opinion of anatomy thingy, that's why in my post i just state that is my opinion . 3) i think it is a good way to see it clearly instead typing 3000 words of essay to point where is it and let the user to guess it. i personally prefer use graphic straight to point out where is the error in my eyes. i was tried to draw outline but it is time consuming so i just use liquify tool, fixed it in 3 minutes. QUOTE(Agito666 @ Oct 31 2014, 05:34 PM) 1) yes, that is my solely opinion of what i think is "correct" To me, it is an offending way to do it. Distorting other's artwork is not cool, worse if its left on what it is, no explanation or justification. Only a distorted artwork, isn't it offending? I would be feel very annoyed when somebody decide to liquify my artwork and shove it to me "Hey this is better."2) yes, only liquify, since i only want show my opinion of anatomy thingy, that's why in my post i just state that is my opinion . On your 3rd point, if u want to point out mistake make sure u do it right, "time consuming" just means that u take lightly on it. Maybe u don't understand, an artwork holds much value to the author, don't manipulate it like its your own, liquifying itself is an act of manipulating. Maybe drpsyko spent hours on that artwork and u decided to manipulate it thinking that u just "fixed" something, is it really broken in the first place? U'd wonder why I am the one going agitated although drpsyko is cool about it, but I think it is just wrong and rude. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This is a good example of pointing out mistake, it makes much more sense, and enlightens me that the perspective is the problem, then followed by an advice, great. |

Maybe drpsyko spent hours on that artwork and u decided to manipulate it thinking that u just "fixed" something", is it really broken in the first place? How do I don't know the artwork hold such value for that, DUDE, this is a digital artwork, it is not like i draw on original copy. Hell yes, it is "something not right he stated in previous post and he can't see it. what's wrong i do the comparison side by side and leave it to him spot 1 by 1? and HELL YES i know that thing, but manipulate for discussion is OKAY for me, not ERASE author's name and claim as my own U'd wonder why I am the one going agitated although drpsyko is cool about it, but I think it is just wrong and rude. you only think like that. ------------------------- and i quite agree one of my lecture said a phrase, "never like your work", so you can destroy the old one and make a new one. AND i find you seems very easy to get everything is offensive on you. you want wire frame paint on top, here you go... and it is harder to spot where is the "error" for overall instead of i just do with liquify tool with least amount of time just for same efficiency unless it is beyond liquify tool can do. QUOTE(seba @ Oct 31 2014, 06:26 PM) QUOTE(Agito666 @ Nov 3 2014, 11:05 AM) Chill guys, I do get both of your points in the way of commenting others' work. I'm not offended or any of the sort by the way Agito666 commented on my artwork. True, it is digital, and it's faster to show the corrections in edited pic (liquify etc.) than redraw the base pose on top of it. Heck, I'm impressed with DragonReine going out of her way to correct seba's artwork. In the end, what really matters is if the person who's been corrected, learned from his mistakes. No point arguing ethics and stuffs if I couldn't fix my own mistakes, lol. Anyway, I've edited the artwork and (probably) fixed the pose. p/s: hard to accept Agito666 fix at first, but he's right. And I don't mind taking critique as long as it has strong basis. Also a lot faster to learn/fix for me if I could spot my mistake pointed firsthand. |

I've stated my view about this, and I don't expect for you to accept it, so my points still remain.
