Why I keep hearding radio about JPJ director saying 16 cameras fully operational with proper signboards to warn motorists? I thought we have 831 cameras installed already, or all those on lists are proposed location?

The AES camera at KM 301 of the Plus highway before the Kajang exit, keep flashing almost every few seconds.
Just wondering how are they going to handle. Imagine every few seconds, snap one. Even print out from the printer also take more than few seconds. I used to traval there, everytime i passby, sure can see it flash. |

Seem like all these cameras are located at those area that the speed limit is below 110km/h, mostly is start from 60km/h till 90km/h, even some can be found at 30km/h and 50km/h areas. Our government really trying to suck our blood, and privatized the AES and the salary is from the summons we pay, so no matter how, they will try their best to make sure we will get the summons. Now I really want to know which is the private company that getting this AES project!

QUOTE(feelfree @ Oct 8 2012, 11:17 AM) Yeah you are right, we should follow the speed limit. I guess you are not driving often, especially along plus highway, when you are driving 110km/h in the left lane and behind you is a bus or a trailer and keep flashing or horning you to give way or drive faster, and this is a very very normal condition and our government did not take any action against these lorry, bus or trailer company and driver since the speed limit for them is only 80km/h or 90km/h, especially most of the accidents are caused by them. Sometimes if you are driving within the speed limit range is very dangerous when meet this kind of "big guy". u guess wrong,my job need me to travel with my own car within peninsular msia,so i use highways and normal roads alot, really alotand i got no problem with this system at all,coz this system meant to catch those speedster,so far no summon for me... speeding = 1 thing drive recklessly (including those monsters keep trailing and honking u) = 1 thing my view of this aes system = trying to reduce the road accidents caused from SPEEDING, and yes,we cant completely avoid accident, but atleast we can reduce the number of accident by minus one factor that could lead to an accident... yeah i agree with u,gov shud implement something to catch those "big guy" |
