actually i have negative view on it, because last FY same quarter result so good............

Kfima has been saving cash to buy over Fimacor for some time already, and they have the financial power to do it. Anyway the controlling shareholder is all at Kfima... so they will not do share swap and end up losing value.

Net cash of Kfima = 270 million
Net cash of Fimacor = 216 million

Market cap of Fimacor (at RM 6.50) = RM 536 million
Shares own by Basir Family through Kfima = 60.82%

So all they have to do is GO for the remaining 40% and pay 214.4 million in cash and get back 216 million net cash (owned by Fimacor). Good deal or not?

Even pay RM 7 per share which is above market value also worth it... it's like getting the company for free. The possible privatization is reported in oriental news today.

Everyone here seems to be bullish. Somehow, either my portfolio move up in unity, or I have certain stocks rocketing up a lot, without me realizing it. Even without including all my bonus shares, my portfolio now at all time high.

This GO opportunity for Kfima has been around for so long already. Last I looked at it was way back in 2007. Till this very day. I still don't know what Kfima is waiting for.
If this would to happen, my guess is a GO at 6.80.

is that the 270m all belong to kfima? I think this money is part of 216m hold by fimacor, kfima unable retrieve it before privatization.

Looks like going to happen soon, the CEO is reported to say he is unlocking shareholder value and he is related to the controlling Basir family, so I am sure he will unlock for Kfima rather than Fimacor. . Read the news at oriental daily today.
