Bottom area of the S3 gets hot for the same reason the top part near the camera gets hot on an S2 - the cellular radio systems are located there.

Not so sure which genius thought it was a good idea to put the heat generating parts closer to the users hands though.

Anyway, after staying Stockmod for so long, I'm now firmly back in the Siyah camp (as I was in the beginning). A few tweaks and it's almost as responsive as stockmod now, plus all the extra goodies like sound tweaks, cifs and ntfs support - AND SWAP! OH GLORIOUS SWAP!

Anyways, planning on buying the Mercury Color Screen for the S3 and give myself the Black S3 Samsung denied me. Yum.

mercury color screen is out for s3? does it cover the whole screen?

It's out. There's even two versions out already, flat and curved - both fully cover the screen IINM.

Not sure if the local guys have it though, I tend to import my stuff myself.

sms backup+ ..... U can get it from play store , sync all your sms to your gmail .

You UVed your CPU and GPU? I only date go under 50mhz while disabling Mali.. Seems that performance isn't hindered one bit. I seem to be getting slightly more juice with the latest beta5
