Nah .. not Proton. Too many bugs and unfulfilled promises. They still need to clean up their act. Proton currently can only get the .. "After 2 decades, still kenot get power window right award"

Hence the award goes to Viva, the pasar malam/pagi/petang and shopping etc car.

That is why proton give lifetime warranty for power window...

Viva is good but in terms of safety and stability, other cars are better

I digress. IMHO, Viva is only good in terms of cheap and easy to park

imagine viva with 7ppl squeeze in.

If like that, kelisa is cheap as well and easy to park....

ya talk about power windows, i'm curious, was it the vendor or the worker that screw up our preve driver side power windows

Too easy to blame the vendor. If a vendor continues to supply you with sub-standard products, hold their payment until they address it OR impose a penalty comprising the cost of replacement. With this many cars already on the road, the manufacturer has plenty of time/feedback to address this. So the ball lies penultimately with the manufacturer, Proton.

There is an unwritten agreement between vendor and Proton because of political and crony reasons. Cannot do anything because so and so know so and so and thus parts quality not up to mark

If ini macam, better close shop la. There's no justifying producing shitty products. How are we the consumers to accept such crappy excuses? I cannot accept. Can you?

Of course cannot accept but there must be the will on top to change this crony mentality or else it is a misuse of scarce resources. Like that better lower tariffs, import car sudahlah and rakyat benefit. Why need to sustain a national car project if the quality is not up to standard.
