from stand still, paddle shifter cannot shift from gear 1 to 2...but can if use the +- gear...

i found that if i switch to gear 2 then only pedal to move the car...more smooth and the rpm wont go high...

but sometime it will not drop back to gear 1 if initially moved the car using gear 2...
*
when mine before 1st service, also like that, normal, now quite responsive, and when i step on gas pedal a little harder, i can get instant boost of power to speed up ... some more on a slope going up

Elantra got "Car Of The Year Title"

What do you think? so far do you see any big family rides on the car at the same time?  brows.gif

so far i only saw preve mostly drive by lone ranger...

unless the family buy 2 car, preve and exora, exora definitely best local family car.
preve not family car lar... what was that guy thinking.

if you have only one car, then that is a family car.

if you have two cars, then Preve is a tabo SPORT CAR..

if couple with a child, then drive preve, will be family car.
if couple no child, 2 cars, then not family car, preve is freaking tebo car.

Nah .. not Proton. Too many bugs and unfulfilled promises. They still need to clean up their act. Proton currently can only get the  .. "After 2 decades, still kenot get power window right award"  mad.gif

Hence the award goes to Viva, the pasar malam/pagi/petang and shopping etc car.  smile.gif
*
ya talk about power windows, i'm curious, was it the vendor or the worker that screw up our preve driver side power windows

It's a plastic ring wrapped around your oil filter. look under your engine, see if you can spot the oil filter (blue color).

hmm if really tax cut in 2015, most likely, foreign car brand, may have to drop their price, unless they still want to gain that lucrative margin.

for national cars, pricing won't affect much, perhaps few Ks off. buy now or buy later, doesn't matter, what matter is that you need the car now.

with inflation going at the rate of 5-7% each year, and with the ringgit going down further, i doubt tax cut will help much.

for low income people, will suffer, as their salary increment not even more than 5% per year.

middle income group, will always stuck in the middle. = can't afford better car, but may getting cheaper car

higher income group, getting richer and richer if invest correctly. = afford better car

Sigh... just want to put this into writing somewhere... just plain frustrated with COSE...

sent in my car last Thursday 2-Aug at around 8am for the following reasons:
- repaint at spots where paint has chipped off at point of delivery, mainly bonnet.
- pointed out where to apply sealant to gaps at small windows at the rear doors
- to check driver back rest is making noise when lean against it
- to check rear suspension making noise when going over speed humps
- to perform 5k service

I know 6/8 was a public holiday for COSE too.

and till today, no one at COSE nor i.care can tell me the actual status...

is my expectation too high?

It's a great car but really being let down by poor after sales service...

COSE? Highly overrated.
*
mine, rear bumper, top side, paint also seem to be smudge... must be a rush job.
till now i don't have the chance to sit at the back to check for noise.
my driver side back rest also got ngek ngek sound, so while driving, can hear it, and sound like cheap seats.

this morning 830, sent to setapak sc, for
