i waited long enough for the approval from HQ.
SC was kind enough to change for me yesterday b4 approval bcoz the back without support really hurt my back while driving long hours, especially this coming holidays.

I also have all window trim cover fixed. No more wind noise.

now will just wait after holidays to send my car for respraying all defective areas which needs at least 3-5days.

I am enjoying myself sending my car regularly to SC to get things fixed nicely every now and then until it's perfect. No need to get upset or frustrated. Not their fault. Just be nice to them and you will feel so at home. Enjoy the experiences and make new friends.

yup totally agree, no point getting angry, just ask them nicely the gentleman way, fix the problem.

window trim cover...hmm... wind noise, i still don't have the chance to sit at rear to listen.
but if the whistling sound strong enuf, evern sit at front can hear right?

depends on the surface of the tarmac road. Road noise might cover-up the wind noise. But it's definitely a defect. Must have additional window strips at certain areas. Will Snap pic for you later. Gotta run.

Yup, it's still high, but definitely improved alot compared to my first month getting the car.
Definitely changing the OWV helped reduced the high consumption. But bcoz i have so many issues to troubleshoot, so each filling up is not of the ordinary usage. You can go to fuelly and check my notes for every fuel-up situation.

I have accepted the fact that my car can go 300km per fuel up of about 40 litres. My average speed can only hit 21 km/h in city driving. No highway in ipoh.
*
mine

before OWV change = 10.6l/100km

after OWV change = 10.3l/100km

just got my driver seat exchanged yesterday. Now the back support springs are well in-place. Still waiting for the starter motor part to arrive. Suspect that causes the regular overcranking and difficulty on cold start-up.

Been hyper busy as usual during this time of the year till year end as I have to close accounts for 36 companies June Year-End.

For now, it's NUCM-NUD

mine... early morning i insert the key. press twice and wait for the engine to check finish. start the car after a minute.... then straight drive also no jerking... but i dont on air con first... air till heat ewnt 2 or 3 bar first.

my SA who attended Proton Preve workshops were told to advise their customers to press the start button TWICE for the car to initiate checks to the engine and other systems before stepping on the break and hitting the start button the 3rd time to start the ignition.

the SA's were told that they found starting the engine only after hitting the start button ONCE, showed higher failure rates of the start/stop button upon testing.

just FYI to users if this info wasn't dispersed to the community as yet.

IINM 150k km. Should be written in the user manual.

Next time the sc staff tell you 3 years again, you slap him with the user manual and tell him to answer again. If he answer wrong, slap him again. Repeat until he says 5 years.
