Last Year Nov. I got told the SC regarding this, the batu caves branch technician say, suspect ECU software bug
ask me go bukit maluri kasi update the software, if the check engine light still on after update, then gonna change again the o2 sensor.

wait for parts have to order 1st. called cose they say can change the same day as they have stock. but after raya cos now appointment full. i asked the sc guy can drive or not, he say cant gurantee. but can confirm will lose a little pickup and a slight increase in fuel.
and i asked cose also, they say have to send car there 1st to check. i asked how to send if appointment full? the answer i got- sorry u can try send to other sc.

Oic, if you wanna go for CoSE, before go better confirm with they the parts is available, I kena last time on the brake oil container, the Service Advisor call say got stock, i book a date via phone then go , mana tau they say no stock, after i ask why then only they told say that they took my parts given to other customer.

Then the next time is the CoSE parts department call me directly confirm got stock and will keep for me then only i success install the item.


While for the SC at Bukit Maluri also gonna call if more then 2 weeks they din call and let you know the status.
Macam the lambda Sensor, they write on system will order parts for me. I wait for 2 month tak sampai at all, then I call only they told me dah lama sampai. =.= waste time waiting and waiting.

Better go for pure proton Edar SC and not Agent SC.

where to get for roll fender???

If the noise is loud like old diesel engine, then it is the iafm being faulty.. If its a fine tektektek sound, then might be the oil not fully going up to rocker cover there..

In both situation, it is safe for a long journey..

I noticed weird sound also, the behavior is exactly like your situation(after start in the morning), it's started like one month ago, i will try to check with my sc tomorrow. i recorded the sound, it will be helpul if some of you can hear it.

Exactly which part of the engine is the sound coming from? Does the sound continue the whole day or just in the morning?

i think from the front side, but i'm not sure. it's only in the morning, i think after around 10 minutes, the sound will disappear.

Its pearl white actually , but not yellowish pearl like myvi..
Persona has no solid white but if gen2 yes that are solid white..

oh wait, maybe pre-facelift non elegance has solid white?

Yes,,the new variant persona,,if i'm not mistaken its standard variant pearl white not the high line one with bodykit..i have no chance to see their plate number becoz terpesona with shining pearl white..

yea. thats the sound. so its not iafm? hard to describe when at sc, coz over there the sound already gone. same as u, only during morning start.

The next time before you start your engine in the morning, open your bonnet first. Start the car and listen if the sound is coming for the FEAD belt aka aircon belt, or the timing belt.
