Balls still got la, just lembik d.

My mom give me 2 choices.

1. Take back your persona and buy a new car for your sister. She plan to get the latest Nissan Almera for her. WTF  shocking.gif

2. U get another car and your persona gave your sister.

Last week sister call and ask, why your persona no power one? How am i going to answer? I din touch the car for almost 1 year. rclxub.gif All my mod gone with the car. Haih. doh.gif

okla after the car being driven by my sister my parents pay the installment for the car. when i drive it is me who pay.

PE H-Line ok lar for...mmm.....for now only 1 year old, personally, its better than when new, coz LCP push the low torque to acceptable level and almost all noise that plague the car for first few month (rear door, back seat, seat), all gone, either magically and DIY. Using better EO with same price.....Caltex Havoline semi even lowered the engine noise abit.

If 2nd hand car value is a key issue, Civic will be the one to go, rarely drop price, only goes up. Depreciation rate of Civic, IMO, is one of the best around vs other similar range. Of course don't go for the 7th gen 1.7cc one, that one got torque dip issue. 8 gen is good, engine no prob but 1.8cc is going to be a bit underpowered at low torque, better than PE anytime tho. FC is going to suffer a bit, imo, lebih makan sikit than PE but then again, its a MUCH bigger car and very comfortable with acceptable handling, unmodded.

Ya, it's safer to buy from caltex petrol station. Garantee no fake. Don't know havoline got fake or not, better no risk it unless the its a verified reliable source.

Syntium 800 almost same price (RM103), the new sn-rated havoline perform almost the same but produced less engine noise and vibration (maybe). Seems smoother in acceleration. SN rated lube have enhanced wear and sludge protection vs standard sm rated lube. However since good brands lube usually exceed SM rate guideline, it really depends on lube quality.

siham hx7 10W40 user here, after changed from castrol mineral 15w40(used for engine run-in) to this current siham, FC increase and pickup slower. wat to do, already stock-up a few bottle during tesco and carrefour promotion. sad.gif
i guess although it's still same xxW40-weighted oil, but siham maybe thicker abit.

No idea. sometimes funny de mah our cars.
mine also always pour whole bottle.
i realised last time when serviced in SC, they pour whole bottle the dipstick will more than max. Using Petronas Syntium 800. when warranty ends, now always service outside, they also pour full bottle of self buy EO, but never more than max.
Is it SC din drain the oil clean enuf or Petronas Syntium EO is more??

Actually if you can find my initial post on Havoline performance (I change last month), I did not have good review on it. Massive vibration, sluggish acceleration performance, louder engine noise. Give me a scared. I have also change a new stock air filter, so not sure which one cause it.

The continues for about 300km. From there, it started to change for better. By the time it hit 500km, vibration subside back to original, engine noise reduced and become even more muted than b4 EO change, acceleration began to smoothen then proceed to accelerate better than b4 EO change. The muted engine noise and increase smoothness of acceleration when accelerating gives an impression of sluggish performance but in reality, its actually better (this is the same impression similar to CVT drive where smooth gearless acceleration gives an impression of no power but actually has best power to acceleration ratio). However still have a feeling like high end speed harder to reach...
last time very easy to reach 120-130, now seems like longer a bit to reach. However high speed drive engine noise DEFINITELY reduce noticeably for me, acceleration during that point is as good as ever.

Maybe ECU do need to adapt....maybe this new SN rate stick to part lube react differently, totally clueless why initial performance not good.

I ALWAYS requested using only 3.7-3.8 liter only, ngam ngam and sometime even exceed a bit, so imagine full 4 liter usage.
