Original use Mitshuboshi (i think)....I change to Bando Belt. (RM 5x/= i bought from my spare parts shop). U need to ask mechanic to check the tensioner for faulty bearing.

My mechanic say the belt got 2 sizes, Long one same as  the original, but the shorter one would be prefered told by my mechanic. tongue.gif

Ya, I guess if we go pay ourself also can get discount, just normally we lazy and don't have time, so have to let the runner earn this.

I remember few years back, I got one for speeding summon also. I ask my father to pay for me, my father say when go there, they will direct give discount, not even need to say anything...But that was really more than 5 years back. Not sure how about now....

Now they give some time limit before the amount increase. The time limit table is inside the summon they sent to you. Traffic summon payment counter also open on Saturday.

Means pay late will increase, but pay early got discount or not?

Well, even I just have 10% chances of getting away. I still pray hard I won't get it. sweat.gif

Not discount but the summon will increase from RM 150 if you pay later than the time limit.

Drifter's tips:

Use a quality race oil for your motor such as ENEOS or Redline's 5w40.  You are going to be revving your motor for extended periods of time at extended rpm's, don't let your poor motor suffer under a standard road-going motor oil like Mobil1 or Castrol or Valvoline that may have quality control issues in production and less sheer protection at high temps and revs.

There is a difference between RACING oil and standard road going oil. In general Racing oil has high sheer protection with increased anti-wear addictives. However it has much lesser detergent. High temp racing is good but for long term daily drive, the massive reduction of detergent addictives is going to create sludge issue later. Do note most cars used for racing do overhaul and oil change after every race, thus racing oil does not really bother too much abt long term engine protection.

Just sharing my experience on usage of 3M rubber seals I bought from the Garage Sales section for my Persona.

I can't find any use of the rubber seals for the engine and boot area, so don't bother buying any for that area. As for the doors they do significantly improve the door closing sound. My rear doors previously sounded like tin cans closing but now it has a much more solid sound.

I didn't buy any rubber seals for the front doors but since I don't have any use for one roll of the rubber seal meant for the hood and the rear boot I just used it for the front doors. The front doors do close with rather solid sound, but the rubber seal has helped reduce the sound where it seems like the window is gonna break every time the door closes smile.gif.

As for my wallet... RM100 cry.gif bye.gif

Big D for the rear doors only, small D for the front doors. P shape less than 1M per rear*** door is good enough cause at the upper part of the rear door the P shape rubber some how starts sticking outwards every time the door is closed. But buying excess is okay since you can use the excess for some other parts of the car biggrin.gif.

Big D for the rear door stuck between the two original rubber seals on the body of the car, while the small D on the front door is stuck onto the area which contacts the rubber seal on the body of the car.
