I see I see. I set the cam to retard so I have to adjust the distributor to retard as well to get rid of the pinging noise. Sound still appears once I engage D and throttle but somehow is gone after a highway trip and acceleration felt smooth and stronger.

Just retard the distributor will do....

mxsteven bro, I have something to inquire you or rest of the experienced.

i'm having problem with throttle for few months, the throttle doesn't response when I press on it, I must either gently step on it, increase it gradually or flat it out to get response from the engine.

there is a 4man that advised me the fuel had over-returned , thus it leading to insufficient supply to fuel injector, so what did this bright 4man do is connect my fuel return pipe with a common regulating valve joint and then lower my returning fuel. It's a very fresh experience and anyone of you aware of this? 4man advised that this is a common problem for VDO. anyone knows about this? would fuel pump spoiled by this trick due to higher pressure? hmm.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

yup it is the same problem for BLM... the Fuel Regulator always gives problem..... normally we replace the fuel regulator.... the method your mech did is not a permanent solution because someday it will just fail and u will be stranded beside the road waiting for help.

I'm also quite worried, I just bought one normal iron regulator from small hardware shop then plugged it in hmm.gif hmm.gif I think that regulator is meant for mini household plumbing brows.gif brows.gif

so what's permanent solution? other than expensive racing type of fuel regulator like SARD

Added on September 13, 2012, 10:43 amGuys, want to ask, do you guys recognize this drive shaft oil seal, 3 times more expensive than normal NOK oil seal, highly durable and heat resistance, hehehe, I felt paiseh/ overwhelm by the statement when I heard

That is the most stupid stuff ever.... you let ur car vacuum leak so the MAP sensor voltage goes lower hence it will be running richer.... this screws up the car idle valve settings.....

maybe elton love to bombard the forum.... i lazy liow....

This stuff last time ppl use for carbureted engine still ok.. For modern engine which are electronically controlled, you will be messing up with the sensor reading. It might even causing engine knocking at high RPM due to uncalculated air entries the manifold.
RM350 for this thing is really a joke.. lol sweat.gif

I am those sarcastic people... but firestorm does the job by increasing ignition voltage.... so far the seller says that he did not increase the voltage but i measured its about 28v. End of the subject.... the stuff works and it makes your car runs more efficiently. I had used in my wira... it solved the stop look go lag only... others still same same...

not every time u have pressure in fuel tank..... fuel tank had pressure release valve on the top..... so if pressure goes on high side, it will release.

So means it is normal ? pressure will change due to environment too right ? because i rmb last time there's pressure sound most of time i open the fuel cap when refueling my car. but 1 or 2 months back no more the pressure sound when open cap.
