Their Definition of a Pyramid Scheme:

1) Product are for show/ No Products
Mc Ocean:
i) Training in Mc Ocean Offices is mostly about how to find the next potential victim (Namelisting, Goal setting, Tee Up, Warm Up. FAQ, Train A, Train B etc).
ii) Out of 76 pages of this Scarm Bible, only 10 pages is about products and its only about how to CON-vince people to believe their Products work.
iii) RM 200 for a small bottle of saltwater, RM 300 for 1 box of fiber, RM 500 for 1 box of purple rice bran ... ... Mc Ocean is product business. REALLY? yawn.gif

2) Very high startup capital/ fee
Mc Ocean: Capital RM 2,000 or ... RM 35,000 shocking.gif

3) Income from recruitment
Mc Ocean: Recruit 1 SP, earn RM 4K + RM 2K by sponsoring their product. When this SP recruit 1 SP, you earn RM 1.7K WITHOUT NEEDING TO DO ANYTHING.

4) No Buyback Policy
Mc Ocean:
(i) After buy RM 35K of product, ask new victim to open all plastic cover. Can buy back ah?
(ii) Need to wait until upline got income only can get your refund, and you have to chase yourself instead of Mc Ocean doing it. Still can buy back?

5) Get rich quick scheme
Mc Ocean: Can be Knight Premier in 6 months - 1 year in Mc Ocean wor, and then can earn RM 20K to RM 100K A MONTH wei. icon_idea.gif

6) Position can be bought
Mc Ocean: When SP got 4 downline, CON-vince to take another RM 35k to buy another SP downline. Almost enough sales to become KP, borrow money to top up the balance sales.

7) No Concern for repeat sales
Mc Ocean: Why then CON-vince people to buy ONE OFF RM 35k if Mc Ocean got "repeat sales"?

8) Deceives people
Mc Ocean: Coverup, Sugarcoating, Overpromising, Lying, Tricking people into joining Mc Ocean is the ONLY way they make Sales of their OVERPRICED garbage.

9) No code of conduct/ rule
Mc Ocean: AJL License and JAKIM Certs aside. No black and white, ONLY Word of Mouth from leaders, so they can easily confuse/ deny people if being questioned.

10) Short Term. High income at initial stage
Mc Ocean: How many members are earning 5 - 6 figure income EVERY MONTH in Mc Ocean now? Show your Last 12 months Bank Statement?

My dear Elite Entr*pr*neur members, so your conclusion is Mc Ocean = Piramit Scheme???
For once, I 100% agree with your findings. rclxs0.gif rclxs0.gif rclxs0.gif

People build network to connect with people, earn trust and build up reputation.

Mc Ocean members build "network" to make money out of them (as one of infamous Mc Ocean Leader S*tish once said, downlines are "MONEY MAKING MACHINES"), exploit their trust and drown them in RM 35K Debts.

Recent report by CNA Insider on MLMs in Singapore:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bSV4HbpKfw...nnel=CNAInsider

Key takeaways from the video:

1) In UK, MLM on average ONLY earns GBP 481/ mth. In US, on average earns USD 500/ mth ONLY. Not yet deduct Tax and Business Expenditures.
2) MLMs are just selling a High Income Dream.
3) MLM Products may have exaggerated claims with no real scientific backing to them.

At the end of the video, this is what the journalist's conslusion:

Most MLM Distributors genuinely believe in the products they sell and this is a legitimate source of income. But as with any industry, there will be bad hats with questionable business models, deceptive recruitment schemes or dodgy products.

So, whether if you are a buyer or distributor, don’t trust a MLM company just because it appears to be legal. If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

If a business includes "recruiting" as a part of earnings or to sustain then that business is a bad business, and most likely to be a scam or MLM.

Mc Ocean definitely meets the 3 criterias that the Journalist pointed out for a bad MLM:

Most MLM Distributors genuinely believe in the products they sell and this is a legitimate source of income. But as with any industry, there will be bad hats with questionable business models, deceptive recruitment schemes or dodgy products.

Pursuade victims to borrow money to buy RM 35,000 worth of products at one go, Recruitment focused in majority of their trainings and events, making exaggerated/ unscientific claims on their products (like their fiber can prevent Colon Cancer, Alkali Water, Deep Sea minerals etc) are a few examples.

Yes, in most cases. One thing i like to highlight...insurance is also MLM. Lots of them also selling dreams, creating untrustworthy insurance agents who is only in it for the money. So in a lot of cases, people got scammed by insurance agents by buying products that don't match their needs (agents usually push investment product the most nowadays as it has better commission). My agent also tries to sell me some junk products....."save money" for kids konon. WTF, you don't know my situation, what i need, what i have done, what i am lacking, terus pushed these junk products which is not relevant for me.

Likely 9.5 out of 10 insurance agents are scammy. The 0.5 belum turn bad only cause still new.

Don't bother to buy those "saving + insurance" or "investment + insurance". Basically giving free money to insurance company and their agents.

Buy only insurance when you need it.

Investment or saving, there are tons of methods to do it.

Basically all MLMs are the same.
Different languages different products, but the nature of the operation is always the same, which is scamming.

Hahaha, this mistake really reflects how much Mc Ocean truly "cares" about their distributors. They are nothing but "Money Making Machines" of Mc Ocean, but they are too brainwashed to realize it.

The clothes this scarmmer wears, the daily 3 meals he eats and the petrol to run his car etc... I doubt those money he and the others really earn through Mc Ocean, but rather from their 8 - 6 job. And yet he will glorify Mc Ocean in front of his downlines and claim it was all thanks to being a Salesman of Mc Ocean. Being the HYPOCRITE and UNGRATEFUL LIARS they are. wink.gif

Watch out readers, if you get suckered into their monthly event, know that they are just trying to make money out of you.

There is no Financial Freedom, Time Freedom and Passive Income with Mc Ocean, YOU ARE MC OCEAN'S PASSIVE INCOME!

Hahaha, looks like Mc Ocean is running out of money to spam the search engines with FAKE BLOGS and useless websites. Back before Covid, Mc Ocean spend alot of money to put ads about Mc Ocean to cover up this forum, but all of a sudden all the blogs just disappeared without a trace LOL!

Another reason is because alot of those members who wrote those blogs, also ended up leaving Mc Ocean after finding out its empty promises and fake dreams about 5 figure monthly income.

TRUTH WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL EVENTUALLY icon_rolleyes.gif

Even the big brand like Hai-O taking hit from weak consumer sentiment, do you think mc ocean can make you a millionaire?

It is quite ridiculous for a consumer discretionary to perform in a weak consumer sentiment environment.

Put it a simple way to say this, the product is not consumer staples or necessity in daily life. You can skip the products when you are facing pressure from high cost of living.

In another word, the entire world is facing high cost of living and yet some people said by selling these "products" can make you rich.

Logic?

Oh, I forgot they don't need logic, they just need to con-vince you.

Actually, i think consumer staples don't work well with MLM, all saturated. Amway/Coway/No Way etc all sell detergent, toothpaste, face towel, tissue etc. The fark i want to buy expensive daily necessities when i can buy cheaper at Aeon/Lotus's/Watson/Guardian etc whenever got discount? Regardless the economy, still many rich people not affected....see people queue up buy iFong and dine out restaurants all full? Which is why those selling up market product i believe still can survive...beauty stuff, health supplement. Those selling daily neccessities, people will buy cheap stuff when can't tahan.

And no, i am not promoting MLM... laugh.gif
