I just got my SHP 895, from the frequency response I noticed that the highs are a bit low and the mid range are a bit high. So did you guys play on flat equalizer settings or your own custom settings?

For me I bump up the highs, lower a bit the mids and bump a little on the lows to compensate a little on the equal loudness contours.

EDIT: after burn in for just 4 hours, the highs are better liao, now I listen at flat equalizer already

1st setup - pda phone Eten M600+ and bundled handsfree kit

2nd setup - Inspiron 6000, psc 805, mini-eph and hp1000

i found the 1st setting to be more "interesting" n smooth
the 2nd setting sounds very dull. not lively at all

edit - software used
1st setup - pocketmusic free edition meaning no extra features

2nd setup - foosbar 0.9.2 with psc805 as primary output and no SA2 on

hi guys, im thinking of getting SHP-895 end of this month...so, izzit worth it? Haha...My current Sony MDR-V250 got a lil bit problem with the wire...so, might gonna change to SHP-895...Dun flame a'ight, cuz too lazy to go thru these 35 pages...

Hello guys .. i want to know about the HP 1000 . is the bass loud ? and also is the surface the headset aluminium or besi ? if so is it tahan lasak if kena sweat ? would it rust ? .. and also can the 2 cusion at the upper head be removed ? .. how long is the cord ? can it be remove ? ..

don't worry, 90% of the exterior is made out of plastic. The rest are a stainless steel band and two very soft, very comfortable but slightly heaty velvet pads
