i knew it's 2.5
but normal 2.5mm plug can't be so small.
look at the tip, where the plastic part is so hell small. just after the plugs.
normal plug will have one round things around it.
see this picture for more detail.
i tried my very best to make already, and i confirm i can't make it.
except i modify the headphone.
if you want some ppl to make the custom cable with the same plug, forget about it, i don't think anyone can do it, except mess with the original plug.

HP1k selling for RM400 MOQ 5 inclusive of postage. Get more people and I will organize one. By the look of it, HP1k definately looks better, I tried both of them before. As for 555... Well... Until now I am still not a fanz of Sennheiser. Ijan says my amplification suxor, which may be true.

i dunno about hp1k, but hd555 much a way more comfortable than shp895 and of course la since hd555 more pricey.i tried ijan's hd555 before, it is very comfortable for a long usage..the materials used to build this hp is great, light and sturdy...

HP1k is definately comfortable, which it's on my head before. I wouldnt comment on their SQ as it's not my taste (due to improper amplification <--- ).

theres a crack on the Left side rotating hinge on my hp890. what should i do? is it possible to send for repair? the unit was a gift for my dad n everything else still in great condition although i bought it around 1 1/2 years back. because of the crack, the rubber headrest also came out of the socket . any suggestions?

HP890 has been discontinued long long time ago. Not everything money can buy, the rest, you've MasterCard.

Heck you can't even buy one 890 if you own 10 MasterCards.

If you plan to buy a new headphone, do let me know, i would glad to buy the broken HP890.

unless u stay at alor setar. i have mention this in the forum a few month ago. and still available last month.

im not sure. if im not mistaken around rm200. usually price for something like hp in kedah higher than kl. i just saw the hp from outside the shop, not care so much about it since i own 890 too. hope someone from alor setar can clarify this matter. the shop located in star parade, 2nd floor.

it WAS a gift to my dad.. huhu. just coincided with him buying a Cambridge A1 which doesnt have hphone output
i guess objects have feelings too. my dads old NAD amp stopped delivering any sound right after the A1 was bought.. now the hphone is broken bcos no hpone jack to plug it into..

lAh0S : how much u willing to buy it from me? the cushion, drivers and body r in perfect condition. just the cracked hinged. higher the better
