Sound is ALMOST as good as Siyah on StockMod now compared to before. Wanam might have done more then his changelog suggested OR Samsung actually DID fix something audio related this time lol (besides the crackling audio of course).

Saperation is... wow-er compared to before.

Not custom. Just tweaked stock BLG1/BLG6. Works really well though.

Not sure. SHOULD be ok AS LONG AS you use it for LG1/LG6 ROMs (not sure about CR).

Go to settings -> more -> data usage and pull the quota warning level indicator down to turn it off.

Just tested. Can't turn it off, weird. Anyways, just pull it UP to something you know you'll never reach, like 100GB lol. It should stop bothering you.

If it's the built in Noti, just pull the orange slider in the data usage graph UP to like 50GB or 100GB. It should disappear then. Nothing to do with your bill.

If it's an SMS from your cell operator, then yeah lol.

Seriously guys, with a phone faster than most 2011 netbooks - the battery life of the S3 is an issue? I mean my Sony Vaio netbook does 4 hours max on WIFI with the screen brightness turned down.

The S3 can do AT LEAST twice that. AND the Vaio can't even do full HD youtube without stuttering badly.

Lol. To put into retrospect, my S2 had much WORSE battery life, and my Jailbroken and overly modded iPhone 4 (before it was stolen) is about the same with the S3. Ditto the Nokia 5800. The N900 had to be run in EDGE mode to get anywhere near S2 running time, much less the S3.

But yeah, geeks will always want a lightning fast phone with infinite running time.

I know I do.

And yes. The S3 is TOO BLARDY THIN. That said the S2 was blardy thin too.

As for the iPhone 4, it was too blardy heavy lol - especially because I like to hold my smartphones lying down using 2 fingers (thumb and middle) while scrolling with the index finger.

The S3 is perfect for this. As long as my fingers don't slip and send the phone crashing into my face - which happens lol.

Fully modded iPhone 4 on iOS 4 = 5 hours heavy 3G surfing time (which I agree). With a single core.

Fully modded custom Sammy ROM S2 non G WITH 2000mah battery = 5 hours heavy 3G surfing time MAX. With two cores. WITH the Momax Expower 7 hours MAX.

No AOSP/AOKP/MIUI because it takes away usability (no MHL out, etc etc).

Fully modded S3 (which isn't even fully optimised yet, like every other new Android phone) = 6++ hours heavy 3G surfing time. With 4 blardy cores.

Am I happy. Yes. Is that a fair comparison? Not really lol.

But 8 hours on iOS5? Wow. A shame I never had the 4 long enough to get that.

Well, that's what I got last time. On auto brightness lol and 3G lol, BLG1 and Siyah kernel. Best time, and I have NO idea how it happened either.

I did uninstall a lot of crap from the ROM though. Including most if not all the Sammy stuff (except Allshare and Samsung Account).

That was before my Tasker "JuiceDefender" profiles too. Now I have my spare batt and I really don't bother much anymore. I'm even running StockMod kernel for the butter now, and I'm sure it gives shittier battery life lol.

As for the i4, I can't comment further because I lost it before it ever got a chance to taste iOS 5 - which like you said, had battery life improvements.

On iOS 4, the iPhone 4 it's just below the S3 level to me, I even had to run around with TWO 2000mah battery cases just to make it through a full day.

Seriously. I'm not biased either as I LOVED my iPhone 4 (except for the "closed garden" niggles like bluetooth and crap).

Maybe my i4 had a bad battery - which doesn't really explain why my bro's STOCK iPhone 4 dies very quickly even to this day, even with iOS 6. Hmm.

Going slightly off topic, the camera on the i4 is brilliant though, even to this day.

Flash streaming? App? Direct streaming on video player?

Flash DOES have a weird bug on ICS sometimes though, it stops playing AS SOON AS the video fully buffers to the end. It only happens on certain flash video players though.

@Andrew: I DO have redraws though, but only after running EXTREMELY heavy stuff like FPSE for long periods of time. Which is perfectly understandable.
