Open call logs, click on the recent missed call. This should be able to remove the (1)

I'm thinking of buying a MacBook Pro.

Can I still use Kies to connect my SGS3 to upgrade firmware?
Does Kies work directly on Mac OS or need to go to Windows via Boot Camp or Virtual Windows like Parallels software?

i read at xda seems like no solution.. i wait new firmware c can clear the miscall anot.. i deleted the logs & now is totally clear.

im using KiesAir. connected via safari. but if im not mistaken, there are Kies for Mac

CANNOT unless you use Parallels and that is also unreliable : 50/50 success rate. KIES has a aMAcOSX version that you can just dump it - in windows is already not good ; in Mac OSX is even worse
macOSX also cannot detect the drives of the phone ( unless it is in GB)
Best you still use Windows OS in Windows Notebook for roms flashing

@uncle ben u got face the miss call notification unable to remove it??

my logs for all calls is empty.. still exists.. got few users at xda also faced this issue.

just done rooting , easy as 123 . I done before on my tab 10.1 , almost the same
