The safari browser suddenly closes by itself.
Kinda annoying. My iPhone no jailbreak before.
Anyone got this problem too??

close the background apps properly n restart the phone...

try turn off running apps and see how it goes.
if cannot solve, restart your phone. normally is goes back to it should.
my recommendation, use google chrome

yea use google chrome as its available now

other than that,try to restart ur phone to clear any cache that might cause the problem.

i got some problem, this few days when i check my maxis home wireless data usage been drain like hell, 1st day almost 1gb 2nd day almost 900mb, and i use on my iphone. to surfing. is the iphone drain data usage fast?

Only your iPhone connect to the wireless? No other device or computer?

only ps3,laptop and iphone, before the iphone normally data usage for 6pm to midnite is around 300-400mb plus, after i using the iphone to surfing for apps store, to donwload apps, seem it double the data, but the thing is apps file size isn't big. or might be the streaming? when donwload? today might just let the iphone wifi on and not surfing on it, or anything do with the location services?

I think there is nothing to do with the location services, some apps in Apps Store is big like Infinity Blade file size is 1GB. You can check back and see the size of all the apps you downloaded, so you sure it's not your computer the one which consume all the data? Is there any download software run in the background? Because I found that software like PPS/Qvod you have to terminate it manually in the task manager because even you din't run/open it they will still continue running in the background process and eat your line data

yea better double check if any applications run on background.

PPS/Qvod i dont have this 2 thing, and i found out some of the apps games need connection to server...might be this is the problem? like fb flash game drain so fast when my wife play the fb flash game.???but this few days she not into the fb game. 2day try just on the wifi. just using the whatsapp and fb only. see how is the progress.

Maybe you can try close all the apps that required connection to server and see? Yeah later just post up and see how much data consumed today

update, i just play the game that required connection, and fb, whatsapp, it dint consume so much. just check the data usage from 6pm till now just 73mb only, i think i go to appstore to often. but still need to check till midnight.

will update when confirm it.

Added on August 11, 2012, 12:21 amas you see my data usage. 11/8/2012 seem the data usage is fair and maintain to normal usage, before that the data usage drain fast. btw i just on my ps3 for awhile, laptop just open as it suppose to be. and the last, iphone just on wifi play the whatsapp and fb only.

final answer is appstore more drain data usage and the some apps seem to be small size but...might be hidden some agenda behind it.

so now i might be carefully surf on this thing, and from laptop also need to be carefully when surf itunes store for download apps and whatsoever. thx for the help from you guys for give me some tips.

You mean the Apps Store consume all the data even if you din't download apps? Because I used to search apps in Apps Store and download through 3G but it doesn't eat up much data of my quata

What you mean? You can use the basic way by using iTunes to back up your iPhone or restore the back up to your iPhone

complete backup or just contact backup? or game backup?

I mean the third party software that can extract the content of the iphone backup... From this kind of software, we can view the contacts or any other data like messages, straightaway from our pc. If using iTunes, need to sync to phone first...
