Thks transaction = 30/9 (Sun) posting= 2/10 (tues) From what i understand, to get the weekend rebate, the posting date must be weekend, not transaction date. No, you are wrong. Transaction date must be weekend. Posting date is basically not important, but it is important if weekends fall on 29th-31st because if the posting date only happens on the following month, then rebate will be included in next month's rebate. For e.g. On 30th September, you swiped for something. Transaction date captured on 30th September but your posting date is 1st October then your rebate will be included in your October rebate and not September rebate.

dear all, just wanna ask regarding the transaction date which is shown at mb2u.... visa is always late, unlike amex.. amex next day will get the transaction via m2u..
however using visa, at times need to wait up to 2 days if on a weekend.... so example, my last day of the month is 6th, and its a saturday, and if i were to swipe my visa on saturday night, and the statement appear only on monday, is it still included in my current month's statement, or it will appear as the following month's statement?

This is because the transaction made on the 6th is only posted on the 8th, but the statement already comes out on the 7th. And yes, Maybank does issue statement on the weekend too.
