Just wondering guys, is gaming good on Time Fiber? How is the ping on CS:GO and Dota? Or towards Valve servers in general. Appreciate the feedback

Errr.. Mine still at 10mb.

So, at the end of the day, even with the upgrade, you're still paying RM149+GST for your broadband, but it's half the speed - 50Mbps vs 100Mbps - that Time Fibre Broadband subscribers are getting?

Ah well, at least it's still something, I guess. Still Astro 1 IPTV subscribers 0 then.

You probably want to find out how soon you can decouple your broadband from your Astro. I hope they didn't refresh your contract just for the half upgrade.

No speed upgrade here either. Still same old 10mbps. I don't mind the 50mbps speed but the price should also be adjusted down properly by half.

got upgraded to 300 Mbps. ori modem and TL-WR1043ND V2 router.
Still cannot get advertised speed (240Mbps) on wifi.
i get around 60++ download and 70+ upload.
anyone knows whats the issue?
anyone got 300 mbps?

Or... Maxis, the other broadband provider for Astro IPTV, raised an objection because it made them look bad.

Anyone know if it's possible to subscribe to Time broadband first and then get Astro IPTV on top of it, once they're paired with the 100-500mbps plans?

Yes u can get both time gpon and astro iptv concurently.

Dont worry both plan are not utilised bandwith each other.

your tplink 1043 limitation (wireless n limitation) you can change to wifi AC to get >200mbps speed...

I just called to Astro IPTV to cancel my account.
Reason - I have been calling them for more than 3 weeks and they still can't give an answer whether my internet speed will be upgraded to 100mbps.

I told them they charging me RM156 and I get 10mbps but if I use Time (same internet provider) I pay RM149 for 100mbps.

If you are already out of contract I suggest you also cancel.
After all, if they come out with new package then can still sign up again - some more new Router and decoder.

C'mon, Astro. Stop being a louse with the internet speeds. We want our 100mbps! OR MORE since we pay more.

i waiting for my contract ends on Nov. I been email both Astro & TIME, both saying in discussion for this upgrade but unable to provide the ETA. Reason for not terminate Astro because when sign up again, will tie to another 24 months contract. Hopefully they can finalize within 1 or 2 months.

Been getting the same 'in discussion' response from astro & time...with no ETA. Was told that an announcement will be made once discussion concluded.

Every week same old copy paste answers about 'in discussion'. It's almost a month, I'm sure the 'discussion' has ended. Damn Astro.
