hi guys, can we change battery outside of sc? or we must change in sc to retain warranty?

my suggestion is dun change the battery outside of sc if your car parts is still under warranty smile.gif

Good advice there. However, as the type of battery implies 'maintenance free' - still need to charge? Sorry yah, newbie here to cars...

As I know, VW cars come with 2 years battery warranty. Correct me if Im wrong

You could well be right. My batt went flat on month 15. Called vw road assist and was replaced foc.

Yes, you are correct. The battery comes with 2 years warranty. I changed mine after 22 months and the SC just changed the battery without fuss

guys, experienced this during night time.

tested this morning, everything works fine but when it comes to night, the bleeding issue is there

any idea?

rubber seal/cover might be mis-aligned...

a non issue but if u want to nit-pick, u can go to the SC and ask them to change the control module...
