golf tsi here - changed gearbox once already after 2 years + (Mileage 40+k)

run before u are been drained to it.

the power and drive are awesome - so much so i don't know what to do with mine now. Sell and i can't find something as satisfying. 

gearbox should be under warranty claim coz all 2010 model onwards got 5 yrs warranty.
if no warranty, easily 10k++

I think the Key question is that how long can the DSG gearbox lasts. 

It's going to be painful to change the DSG gearbox after the warranty period if the lifetime of the gearbox is short.

I'm also considering whether should I buy 2nd hand Golf TSI or not. 

so..... whats the price on mk7 and which outlet has a test drive model already?! hahaha

Same type of gearbox same name.. But they improve it.. So pretty sure won't have the old problem the previous MK6 is having..

Dont know if this has been asked before, but i'll ask again. Are all the Volkswagen keys the same? In particular, are the Scirocco car keys designed the same as other Volkswagen? Like Golf , or Passat?

Today I tested the Golf Mk7. Its very refined and smooth indeed. The ride is comfortable and quiet inside the cabin. Good quality plastics used gives the car a premium feel. 

On a side note, when I was on the highway at full throttle, I got smoked by a Mazda 3 MPS.

u see them, u move aside... even if you are driving a GTi...
end of story...

cuz most of them on the road now are easily putting out anywhere between 400-500NM of torque on the wheels...
so go figure....
