er6n 2012 yellow mileage around 5k kms.

# low sider crashed (with frame slider) - right side
# scratched side mirror, brake lever & bar end
# very tiny dent on the tank
# small dent on the exhaust caused by the brake pedal

@ right fairing replaced new
@ coolant tank replaced new
@ right side foot rest panel (the whole component which holds the foot rests) replaced new

how much does it worth now?
*

ai? until today you haven't got your red 6f yet?

in the market for too long la you...

and 27k for a 30,000km er6-f is on the expensive side of the bargain. you should try to go for around 25k since you need to do lots of major servicing for the bike - replace chain & sprocket, valve clearance, etc. etc. at that mileage
*
u can easily get 24-25K. just need to find right place. saw one at welly bt caves. go check!

dun think so

most bike shop won't allow you to test ride a brand new bike, unless you are quite known to them

at most, you can just sit on the bike i guess

unless you are buying 2nd hand...

i will be staying in HK for 2 nites, if needed to extend maybe can extend 1 more nite just to shop for my bike apparels laugh.gif listed down all the shops i wanted to visit, most of them located at Kowloon.. lol source it from ibike.com.hk too..

1) Kowloon, Yick Man Building - Moto mart co 车迷城, mostly retail komine and alpinestars product range
2) Kowloon, Pau Chung Street - 亚林, retails RS Taichi product range
3) Northpoint, HK - Dainese Hong Kong drool.gif
4) Wong Kok, HK - 嘉利 Shoei and Spidi products

let's see my trip there this round will be fruitful or not rclxm9.gif

cant afford to get another Arai anymore, my Shoei which is too tight for me not yet sold haha.. some more just bought another X-lite X802 Carlos Checa helmet sweat.gif

Looks good, hope you would cart back a cartload of goodies. Dont forget to flash flash them.

About your Shoei RF1100 - have you tried emailing Shoei customer support if the problem can be rectified by changing the cheek pads or head liner?

If you are going to shop for helmet, just be mindful to bring a head liner, balaclava or similar when you try it out. HK folks are pretty cautious when it comes to hygiene.

First advise - ride as often as you can.

Yes and no.

Yes in condition that you are recommended by a friend whom brings you to the shop and your friend's assurance is at stake if anything happens

Yes if you are being honest that you can handle the bike

No if you do not ask. Same applies if you behave like a snob

No if you do not show confidence that you cannot handle the bike

normally the shop will never ever let unknown customer to test the bike, there are cases where so called potential customer took the bike for a test run then never to return again. big bikes are very expensive to repair, even a stationary crash would cost thousands. I heard there are shops who give you the opportunity to test but you have to sign some letters first lah. drop it, it's yours.

Added on August 11, 2012, 1:59 amoh if you plan to buy exhaust overseas, do not ship with FedEx, use dhl instead. I've done it once and the exhaust reached my place without getting taxed. I did the same with my phone from UK, not getting taxed as well.

perhaps it was remarked as a gift instead of purchased items? I heard if the sender state on the form as a gift, then it wont be taxed. Not sure if this true tho, havent bought anything from outside malaysia.

25% is just for duty import fee not including postage. usually Currier will call you asking if you want to collect ur by ur own or they will collect for u with fee.
