Haha apparently the sound that is important for me not the power. ok if no harm then just w8 till 1k milage. Plus if i change to full system, it will void the warranty?

atleast try out 1000 km with stock .... then u feel much different ......
void warranty, u should ask ur seller or ur warranty manual

thats is idle adjust screw. most of carburated multi cylinder bike with multi carburetor have it. so you can change all carburetor idle timing at same time. no need to adjust one by one. just rotate it to manufacturer idle setting. for 250r i think 1350-1500 rpm.

u means the 2nd hand or new?so far the cheapest i asked for new is 14800 for cash (direct from naza shah alam)
the 2nd hand i mention in previous post the seller put price tag RM8.9K nego year 2007, i think the 2007 is a bit too old but nowaday seldom got c 2nd hand blade for sale

dun want to wash since if wash, color may fad

if raining, use a rain jacket over the jaceket (another reason why u need a larger size rain jacket)


leather + our hot weather = smelly jacket after a while

leave under the sun lo .....

armored / padded mesh jacket, kena uv damage, later on your armor pads disintegrate liao...

riding also kena sun ma ....
i do recall one trip from sg back PG, dry, wet, dry,wet, dry wet all the way to pg ...

if didn't wear the armor pads will rosak also. same as leather. the more you wear the better.

say for mesh jacket, without washing, sometimes it does gets dirty or dusty after riding.. so u all just leave it there? u know when cruising high speed on highways all those bugs will splash on ur jacket lol.. leave it as it is?

as for leather suits, did u all actually use any oil appropriate for leather to clean it? u wouldnt want to leave ur RM3000 leather suit there not taken care of as well rite? and in the long run, ur leather might just crack off..

or do u all prefer mesh/perforated jacket/pants?

am thinking of investing in a leather suit thou.. currently using half leather half mesh.. full leather looks gooding yo

The black chassis models had most issues corrected..... Be vary that they all are carb models...

So if u got a good deal for a black chassis Blade, the it's ok to go for it...

so the 2007 silver chassis not worth at all?my mechanic told me is the carburetor setting problem, replace the setting chipset(or similiar things perhaps?) will solve the problem, i will arrange my time to meet the fellow tonight, anything to check the bike condition?

There's no such thing as the chipset, coz that bike uses CDi instead of ECU on Fi bikes...

The problem with most silver chassis Blade's was the Cam.... IINM, Most changed ones are marked with a dot at the valve cover....

U test ride, check for any oil leaks, Bent forks or swing arm and rims, any sign of prev. accident, and the engine sound ( make sure no krakk sound ( that indicates ruined valves)....

It is advisable that u bring somebody that knows how to check bikes...

if ur mech said replace carburetor chipset, i think u should change mech d
