You just have to put it back into the pot, if it's a small one.

No worries there. Just put it back into the pot if possible.
This happen to me once, and my cactus still looks fine since it still small la. It's been more than a month, and my cactus seems to be growing abit bigger. |

That's a long time, dude. I figure it's time for you to transfer ur cactus into a bigger pot with better soils.Tell me, where and how do u get those seeds? For me hor.. Cactus.. is depend on what type of cactus and which type of soil you have.. example, cactus that bought from supermarket or what everplace.. the soil that they are using is kind of water absorber... mean they only need to "rendam" the cactus pot into the water and make the whole soil wet and then it can "tahan" for a week. but those type of soil you can't use it in long term.. coz if you let it dry.. they'll stick together and if you just sprinker some water only... the water will dry up before absorb into the soil.. so i suggest just use the normal kampung soil~( i everytime will wash up all the soil after i bought from a shop and use my own soil ) but anyway.. sunlight is a must lar cactus that bought from cameron maybe you can maybe use a piece of glass and put a piece of netting on it to prevent strong sunlight and water. me myself i use aquarium (put down the aquarium (top face front))

Not serious collector just buy whatever fancies me. Use to keep orchids but abandon already when the whole thing collapsed.
I grew them on a large tree stump but after about 3years the wood rot and everyting jatuh Do you know there is an orchid farm at Jalan Klang Lama? The owner has a large variety of orchids and some rare ones from Thailand. Mostly flowers is for export but you can drop by and buy the adult plants as well. |

Say, when should I repot a plant? My plant, a "dracaena massangeana", has mostly thin roots, but also fat roots that extend all the way down to the bottom of the pot. Should I repot it into a bigger pot already?

It's up to you really. Honestly, i'm not too sure what plant is taht you're having. Lolz. It all depends on the plant itself.I've just googled about ur plant, and here's the website. http://www.dracaena.com/Massangeana.asp This post has been edited by Marcus: Feb 11 2006, 08:41 AM |
