i havent grown them from seed before, but currently i'm trying out cross pollination between two different plants, one hybrid and other species so if get seed pods i might be selling them. My plants are bought from cameron highlands, sungai buloh, pahang and sarawak. You can try cuttings from old plants also. Just take a young shoot, cut it near the base and dip in rooting hormone, and plant in damp coconut fiber mix. but only some species can be reproduced by this method, others need seed. these are male flowers of Nepenthes miranda a hybrid of fusca and truncata, i choose them for their size and nice pitcher design. these are female flowers of Nepenthes gracilis, a very fast-growing nepenthes, so easy to grow. Hey guys im from a plastic manufacturing company, recently we have designed and produced a Grass Retention and Ground Protection Mat to be sold nationwide. My boss had gotten this idea from his American golf buddy. Take a look at EBAY.COM.MY

Hi. I noticed that my prized periwinkle plant is getting black patches at the base. NOT good, most likely stem rot. Now I must hunt for the source of it. I suspect it's from my compost. I also need to know how to check the nutrient composition of the compost so I can decide what to put and what to ommit. It's a cold compost in a flower box (the only thing that can fit on my balcony, very narrow ) I always have to dig a central hole for aeration, although sometimes the kitchen scraps fill it up to the point a mount must be made. No meat were used. Eggshells are used Primary carbon filler are corn cob pallets from my hamster's bedding (given organic food and things like that) I suspect that it's too high in nitrogen and phosperous

is anyone here know where could find carnivorous plant supplier in malaysia? last time i got my venus flytrap at MAHA 2007. and the 2nd time at the nursery at Ukay Perdana, Ulu Kelang, (beside MRR2) but the number of the carnivorous plant is very little. but i dnt know now. less people like to try planting this kind of plant. if i could find just one pot then i will propagate it.
