I don't think the skill % shows in your character DPS sheet. In fact it just work like how Quaza explained, total DPS / damage dealt + X %

It doesn't show DPS on your character information page.
The DPS that I mentioned is the damage I see on the screen when I shoot the monsters.

guys got any amulet for sale? stats for monk, like dex/vit/AR or sth. i've been trying to buy/bid amulets for over a month, somehow there seemed to be AH bots around zzz...

What are the attributes of your current amulet?
Let me check if I have something better than your current amulet or not.

I got an Ammy with 174 Dex, 57 Vit 62 AR and reduced control effect 9%... wanna trade?

for me, u should increase your dex first. try to get above 1500. then, DPS... 15k is prolly too low for dual wielder...

Ya..the vit also needs a boost. The fist weapon is great..but ..lack of dex+CC+CD....DPS suffer badly...

my previous dex is 16xx, after i change my weapon, my dex dropped badly, despite the dps staying lulz... i'm still trying to scout for dual wield with 900+ dps and 200+ dex.

how about you guys recommend me stats that i should actually seek for, for example the amulet. i've been scouting for many weeks but i still can't settle down for which stat i should seek for.

amulet - dex/IAS/CC/CD or dex/vit/AR

weapon - 800dps/dex or 800dps/IAS/CC/CD or 800dps/dex/CC/CD

something like that. i still can't make up my mind

I wont say I am monk sifu as my monk only finished Act 1. But..from what I can see...monk really underpowered. i.e my DH can tank a hell lot better than a Monk.

I currently play trying max DPS monk..rather than tank monk (the irony..DH tanker ..Monk glass cannon)...so my suggestion to your query (IMHO)

I always think jewelery are attacked focus (eventhough I got the Ammy offered above..lol

Amulet - go for CC/CD/ASI in that order...then only main stats. ). Reason to chose CC first is Amulets have high CC%..as it can go up to 8%. Same with CD 60%. ASI...better get it from rings

Rings -ASI/CD/CC in that order...reason CC in rings are expensive as they can go up to 4.5% only..not worth the millions poured over...next Vit/Dex/Str

Weapons:- DPS is the main criteria. Get highest DPS you can buy. CD/socket next. No CC for weapons..hence.

Try to aim about 35k DPS/30k HP. Its possible with a 900+ weapon with 30++ CC and 250CD. drop the LoH and add CD to your off hand fist (but of course you need to up your CC otherwise its just useless) eg no point having 400CD when CC is 5%.

How you play is to stack defensive skills- MoC/Serenity/BoH/Wind. + Enchantress for Armour buff

Thats how I do it..for Act 1. Really easy...havent started Act 2 but I guess can pull through as I am back farming Act 2/3 on my DH. Good luck

5k armor, 500AR, 25k DPS, [CC20%/CD200%] or [LoH1.5k], HP 30k.

I used the above to end the game but A3 ok ok only. A4 kite till no tomorrow. Our IDEAL build (keep on dreaming yo):

2.5k dex, 7k Armor, 700AR, 50k dps, CC35%/300%CD, HP 50k.

1.5K LOH is quite a lot.
800 LOH and above should be fine for A3/A4.

Ahaha..until you meet the farter...then its 2k LoH

there's people who downed him with 0 (got video posted in this thread too i believe)

what I meant is that for pure LoH build (no CC/CD) the recommend value shall be around that. Of course there are also LPSS build.
