I seem to be facing massive connection issues where pages often take a LONG time to load or don't load at all and I have to keep refreshing till it loads. Download speeds have suffered also. Then sometimes the connection drops completely from the modem and DSL has to reconnect.

Unifi Speed Test shows it is fine but honestly, it is far from fine. Have had these issues for a while now

Anyone else facing these issues?
Contacted TM but they said my line is fine from their side

Would appreciate any help.

My unifi just got continuous blinking light at "Internet" indicator on the router. No internet connection. What's the problem?

It looks like the "quota already implemented" question has been asked repeatedly, and the answer remains "NO", not at the time being. Maybe someone should just pin a separate thread about TM UniFi quota issues so that forumers don't have to always ask this. If and when TM really implement it, then the info should be updated in that pinned thread.

Also I notice few days back, some people just don't quite understand about the credit limit thingy. Need to say, credit limit is NOT bandwidth quota. Rather, it is the maximum amount of money you can owe TM before they start suspending your service.

The credit limit is 3 times your monthly subscription. Hence for VIP5, RM149 means credit limit of RM447. If you have been paying promptly each month, that does not mean you will never exceed your credit limit. Say you subscribe many premium HyppTV channels, or VoD titles, and make a lot of calls (especially international ones) using the VoIP phone, there is a likelihood you would have exceeded that RM447 limit even in less than 1 month, which in this case you will need to make some payment to prevent suspension of service.

As an example, Maxis does impose credit limit on postpaid mobile phone services. Say if your credit limit is RM250, and if within 2 weeks you already exceeded the RM250 limit, your line will be temporarily suspended. You will then need to make payment so that your account will not reach the credit limit to unsuspend your service. You not necessarily need to pay RM250 in this case, but it can be just RM50 or RM100 as long as your account does not exceed credit limit.

Try to use Backfire, then setup manually as per the link given earlier, it should work.

Trunk is testing stage so sometime not stable vlan might be broken.

UniFi Credit Limit Implementation Announcement

Dear Valued Customer,
Telekom Malaysia Berhad ™ wishes to inform that commencing 1st August 2012, TM will update all its UniFi customers regularly on the status of their accounts. This is to help customers to manage their account payments better.

In line with this, we will be introducing a credit limit policy where we will assign a credit limit to all UniFi accounts. This credit limit will be equivalent to three (3) times the package monthly fee.

TM will be sending out email and SMS notifications to alert you on the status of your account usage upon reaching 70%-80%, 90%-100% and upon exceeding 100% of your credit limit .

Following the introduction of this credit limit policy, customers are advised to make timely bill payments to ensure that the outstanding amount does not exceed the stipulated credit limit so they will continue to enjoy uninterrupted service. We wish to highlight that TM will proceed to suspend the customers’ account if no payment is received within 24 hours upon exceeding their credit limit .

Kindly make payment for any outstanding bill to ensure you continue to enjoy uninterrupted service.

Should you need to update your mobile number or have any enquiries, please call TM UniFi Centre at 1-300-88-1221 or visit your nearest TMpoint.
