Guys,
who's UNIFI connection is from the green box on the ground and not from the telephone pole? using the one on the ground, TM said there's no drilling needed my question is, does that use fibre or just like apartments and condos that uses copper, VDSL2? |

QUOTE(DecaPix @ Sep 6 2012, 04:30 PM) Nairud, my connection is from the green box at the back alley. sort of no drilling needed as the fiber will go through the ceiling outside the house. from there it'll need to drop down into 1 of the rooms upstairs. TM will will charge you for over ceiling installation though. my connection is fully fiber to the BTU. QUOTE(rattan @ Sep 6 2012, 04:34 PM) Thanksbut why from upstair's ceiling? if it's already underground, where's the outlet? |

QUOTE(DecaPix @ Sep 11 2012, 10:25 AM) Oh..inside the house.. LOLRefer to pic located here. Can see from the 3rd pic There'll be a fiber optic termination point. Another small box to get the signal from the black wire to a flexible fiber cable. From there it'll connect to the BTU (1st pic) the white cable. i know la the FOTP, i have unifi in my current crib and drilling was required. My new house is underground fibre, hence i wanna know where is the termination point if there's no drilling required as per claim by ppl/unifi for underground fibre. i dont see it around the house or maybe i overlooked |
