How do i keep my existing number when upgrading from streamyx to unifi??

In the online registration form, it asks me to reserve a number, even though i had clicked on keep existing phone number in the previous page..
*
u will get new unifi number even you keep the existing streamyx number, just pay for monthly phone line rental for existing streamyx number if u want to keep it

TM allow u to carry forward as long as u pay the monthly phone line rental, so u can keep the old number. However for unifi, u will have additional new number and it is given bundle with internet and iptv.

Mind giving me report ID? I can help check

I m having the same issue. connection lost intermittently. call their support. say will check on site. then receive a call from technician say site no problem, need to come over my house to check. i say ok. then this morning receive msg from unifi saying that on site support & change of CPE will be a charges which wil reflect on bill. i quickily call support, been told service warranty expired, will only bear charges of RM 50 & faulty router or that hypo tv set. sad.gif
but i believe it's either their site problem or modem problem cos i got 2 router (tp link & d link unifi), tested both with wired & wireless. same.
ping to google.com , many lost connection....

technical guy came, change modem work fine now.
let me conclude unifi-vdsl for my own experience:
i have been using unifi-vdsl since 2011 april. few times connection problem, change modem twice, site problem few times. so for
consistency wise, i would only rate it 6 over 10. sweat.gif
for speed, almost perfect. torrent, streaming, constantly getting 500 kbps & above (VP5). 9/10 thumbup.gif
but certainly i would switch to times astro iptv when my contract finish in april 2013. they claimed it's fully fibre, they will lay the fibre cable to my home. unlike unifi VDSL.

p/s: i never on the modem for 24 hours, week day working, weekend the longest i ON is 10 hours.

guys i just installed my unifi yesterday. so the tm fiber modem is connected to the free dir615, but i wish to replace this dir615 with my current linksys wag160n, is that possible? i'll need to set the wag160n into 'wifi router only' mode and remove the adsl setting, and then configure it to work with tm's fiber modem as wan mode. can?

Need advise for Unifi installation. I moved out from my previous house for about six months already where the unifi was installed under my name. My ex housemate been paying to me without fail every month.

Right now I want to install unifi at my current house. Moving it will cost me 300. Should I move it or set up a new one here using my brothers name? As he is staying with me now.

inb4, I have another 7 months left
