Is it not recommended to update ICS yet?

I heard mostly say problem but some say are OK, so confusing.

Still in stock gingerbread since the phone is less than 24 hours old

In fact based on your finding I found that whenever quick launch is not working, even not using the Album app, simply open then close Album app quick launch will work. This must be a bug.

my problem with ICS... 3 times happen, the last 2 was twice...

Open Sound setting, go to Phone ringtones... test a few ringtones and suddenly phone rebooted.

Sometime ringtones back to standard tones...

Wait.. while I typing this I also do it again like above... and guess what.... it rebooted again... so this times is the 4th.

Happen again 5th times... now I just choose Android System when asked 'complete action using'.... test 2 songs... pooh... restarted.

6th times... do exactly as 5th times... after open Android System... I left if until phone screen off... press power, I can see XPERIA logo.... dem.. restarted again...

Gingerbread on XPS really that smooth?

OK I am very stubborn, I updated to ICS, so far no issue yet.

Not much time to spend with it yet, let's see in these few days, will update soon.

recently screen wont come alive after i finish call, probably sensor block by my face oil

i had 1st prob with ics
i was watching youtube suddenly screen fade to black color but got sound.. but screen is black cant press anything..
afta 1 min got some weird sound then it restart the phone.

btw how to improve vibration when press?
compared to xperia u .. vibration on xpu is much better n screen on xpu feels brighter.. maybe bcause i use clear on xpu n matte on xps

I got problem with the fast capture thingy. need press 2 times only the camera will on from lock screen

I got problem with the soft key, well since gingerbread, insensitive, have to press few times.

Or I press the wrong place?

it takes time getting used to then you can do it with a single time =D

just swipe up would help, lol

go launcher was pretty smooth(was playing with it)

only one thing disappointed me, that is cannot add walkman widget to home screen
