If those flap opened while the washing machine spinning = You're Screwed = Warranty Don't Cover

i've seen the display set before, the flap is very secure, unless you use your nails to pry it, it wont come out.
its more secure than the usb flap on xperia s. i cant imagine any sort of bumping or vibration can pry it open. even by the washing machine

Same thing happen to my wife sony Arc. Sent to the shop to dismantle the phone after taking out the batt. Your case
a bit problem. Clean and blow dry the mother board. Forget about the warranty... cannot claim la.. phone was 6 mth old then in 2011. Charge the batt n install everything back phone start again . Lcd full of water marks. Batt out n keep the phone in the uncook rice container for a week. Start up perfect and stiil using today in front of me rignt now
No harm trying since the phone is kaput right now for you.

set it ring loud.. no more forget cuci case

I already test my fren xperia ZL.... nothing so fancy.... maybe cos I already use S3 for so long.

Sent my 3 months old phone to SEMS Penang due to yellow tint in the display.

It has been 3 weeks and the parts are yet to arrive
