Its easy since you unlocked bootloader

1. Copy both rom & kernel files into the root storage
2. Reboot into recovery
3. Advance --> Wipe dalvik cache (optional)
4. Install zip from sdcard --> Choose KA12 rom to install. follow instruction. Wait it to finish install.
5. After install it will boot back to recovery. Now choose kernel file to install.
6. After install wipe dalvik cache again & *REMEMBER* to Wipe Data/Factory Reset
7. Reboot system now.

Note: If wifi doesn't work or any other system file gone wrong, pls boot again into recovery & reinstall.
Flash kernel for wifi issue (normally works for me). Be sure to perform Wipe Data/Factory Reset everytime you flash a new rom installation.

I done this dozen of times. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the guide, bro..This is much easier to understand, I will do it tonight when I have free time..

BTW, I have noticed that this XPS has very good signal reception, even tho there is no signal bar, but there is H sign there, I still able to make calls or receive calls and the quality of the calls good.. Not one single drop calls I have encounter so far.. earlier I have use HTC model and SGS S2, I have been experiencing few drops calls at my works place where some of the areas I dont have any signal or poor signal.. But on this XPS, it shows there is coverage and able to make calls.. That is plus point for me since I have make calls for work purpose..

That's good to news to you but I've been experiencing a quite a few drop calls from time to time before especially night maybe cause of Digi been upgrading it's server. But apart than that this phone is superb. Wifi & data works like a charm.

My friends ask me, "why you choose to buy this phone".
I answered "transparent bar, that's all".
They were like..... "Serious?"
Actually plenty of good reasons like HD screen, good cameras, etc... but lazy to explain.
Bought it at RM1.8K that time. Even now got many new phones better features, 'longer screen', etc etc... I still prefer Xperia S sleek design, and yes, the transparent bar!  tongue.gif

Too bad Nilkin case break already. Now need to find new casing.

u only need to bring the warranty card with u....no receipt required.
definitely YES! even more so with the current price  biggrin.gif

My case a bit different. The dealer did not register my phone into Sony database. So I need to provide warranty card and receipt. I bought the phone from Sony Center in BTS.

Not very clear with your question. Do you mean CWM recovery? If yes, you need to root the phone to get it work. And there are 2 ways to root your phone, you can choose to unlock the bootloader, or remain lock bootloader.

Hmm..I guess not everyone here have the problem. tongue.gif
What do you mean sometime work and sometimes not? Mean the other end can't hear you? I did not encounter this problem though.

No idea, maybe someone can answer your question. If you want to send for warranty, the best place would be SEMS in Amcorp Mall.

Yeah, there is a service center in BTS. 10 out of 10 regret to send the phone to there for warranty. You want to be the 11? tongue.gif

I rooted with lock bootloader. You need to keep tapping on the screen after you reboot when it showing XPERIA.
