I'm sorry if being disappointed at a pre-season game is wrong, but it is our last match before our opener against City. We fielded a very strong team against a Championship side. We should be outplaying them for most of the match, constantly creating chances. I don't care if we lost the match due to poor finishing or defensive blunders, but we should at least starting playing some good football. Anyways, nothing is set in stone. We have a week till the ManC match. Our players may not be running at 100% now, so hope we snatch a result and get a early trophy.

as i said, this year will be VERY hard for our teams and most of the teams.

poor danny boy.played so well yet put his team out of the tournament.

For me, his performance was just average, and i dont think he is suitable for central striker role because of his poor first touch. As a central forward, he will be surrounded by opponent close by, a poor touch means either ball been rob or defence have time to recover. I still think is his ego thinking being central striker he can score more goals. I could only see him play as RW at the moment, as RW he have less attention by opponent, so he can do what he do best which is in at the right place at the right time to tap in a goal.

But in OUR case... we'll only win the BPL if we win the shield so.... Damn

i watched part of the second half and can conclude that our performances have gotten progressively worse. again,the lack of clear cut chances created is very hard to ignore.i caught the 1st half highlights as well and brighton looked to be the more dangerous team. haih. the city game will reveal more i guess.but imo we looked most fluent vs LA galaxy in that 4-2 win during the second half even though we didn't add to our goal tally.iinm that midfield contained KDB,hazard and marin.
