anyone encounter "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped." when making call? i encounter this problem after the latest firmware update... i can receive call but i got problem making calls... can anyone help me pls?

you just factory reset. problem gone forever ever, end of your life, dozen light years.

You on stock ROM? didn't flash anything?

A modem reflash could help. If that doesn't help, then a factory reset should solve it. I'd try a modem reflash first since if that works, then you don't have to reinstall all the apps.

If you have a backup, then i would recommend that next after a modem reflash that doesn't solve it

hey..connected my s3 to my desktop for the very first time today

samsung kies detected a firmware upgrade so i updated my firmware...

after downloading the firmware, it proceeds to the firmware upgrade progress and my phone has that android guy with "Downloading ... Do not turn off target!!"

But my firmware upgrade on my computer has been stuck at 2% for half an hour now. is it normal? how long does it take to do a firmware upgrade?

am considering just disconnecting my phone but dont know what may happen

googled up the problem, saw some forums say that if cannot update with kies, use phone direct update (settings -> about device -> update)

problem is, phone say no update. kies say got update available.

dafuq?? which is correct?!

Having weird problem with my S3. No notification tone for received SMS messages. Tried to go to notification settings and message menus, everything seems to be set properly but no sound! Incoming calls ringtone ok..what's da problem? Anyone can help?

so which one is better i go buy the phone only at samsung store and then go to celcom or maxis to change from prepaid to postpaid...
or
i just go to celcom or maxis center and just buy the phone with contract..?

Hi guys, I just got my phone yesterday and i can't find the default calendar app from google. Did samsung remove the app?

check on the volume for the notifications? they have 3 settings for volume..

depends on whether do you use the mobile data and call plan.. if u r not a heavy user, then might not worth.

just download from Play Store if don't have.

The latest update removed the brightness control for stock browser? Lol gg or is it just me

it's ok to just disconnect as it hasn't really updating your phone.. it's still downloading from the server to your pc.. update through kies always got this problem as samsung server sucks.. either you wait for ota or go sammobile download latest firmware and update through odin if you can wait...

Worth or not will depend on your daily usage. Varies on people. I can max out 1gb quite fast as I use my SIII on-the-go for emails, viber calls and a lot of other stuffs.

1gb currently cheapest is umobile, but network subject to availability.

28 monthly for 2 years with device only priced 1599

I forgot to ask. The Fonts, need to root our sets? After updating from KIES, my unit turned back into a not rooted set.

do i need the data? and do i want to be tie to the contract? if yes then go for telco can save few hundred on the phone..

if not for the question then just go to samsung buy the phone..

directory bind always gets disconnected and i end up having to move all the files from my SD card to my phone storage again. is anyone having this problem too?
