damn.. been trying out the voice to unlock and to open up apps and it really is cool to turn on the media player or camera just by saying the commands...
However, since I wanna have a pin-locked screen, that extra step just to unlock the screen is quite... ma fan |

erm... i can't screenshot it cause when screenshot-ed, it shows the camera as normal... erm..
at the bottom of the camera screen which is right on top of the camera snap button/video-camera toggle and gallery button, there is a 1/2 cm black bar. It's as though the image preview has shifted to the top/left |

just flashed ninpo1.2.0 which supposedly fixes the camera portrait bug.
So far, it looks like it lives up to the hype. Will continue testing |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Jul 14 2012, 08:29 AM) I have no effing idea where my phone was made. Only thing that mattered was the camera sensor be made by Sony - main reason why I got a white S3 - and that everything works. Jumped ship eh?All the PBs at the shop I was at had Sammy sensors all. Dang. That said, white's not all THAT bad - hopefully it doesn't turn yelllow too quickly. I might just vinyl wrap the whole thing and get myself a real "black" S3. I don't think I'll be too worried about it turning yellow. I've seen a couple of white ol' S II's around... seems OK. |

Just noticed that wifi direct does not work properly. Can receive files but can't send. Another SIII with stock rom and kernel could send files to me but me can't send

@eiraku
Just flashed Siyah 1.3.8. Check TiBu, both Wi-Fi Direct 1.0 and Wi-Fi Direct share 1.0 are there. |

Also, about the screen protectors,
Is it me or the curved glass always seem to cause the SPs to raise a little bit at the top and the bottom... leaving small 1-2mm worth of air bubbles |

Shifted from stock browser to Google Chrome due to imperfections in the text reflow. Google chrome is indeed speedy in loading pages... but still way choppier when scrolling around especially when it just finishes loading the page. stock browser is buttery smooth... but
... aih. darn that text reflow. I'm switching back to stock browser any hoooo |

QUOTE(ogiveyakuza @ Jul 16 2012, 07:37 AM) QUOTE(Long88 @ Jul 16 2012, 08:39 AM) Tried Dolphin HD. Text reflow reacts the exact same way as stock browser. Don't get me wrong, Dolphin is smooth too (though stock seems to be a tad better) and has definitely TONNES more options than stock. But to me, smoothness is priority.Opera? OKOK. I'll test it and see. I know the text reflow in Opera is one of it's selling points |

Saw the replies in Wanam's forum
I think the one we'll appreciate is the RAM increase. Cause the speed boost is kernel related. |

Just downloaded Opera Mobile and ran a few pages like youtube.com and engadget.com
Not even close compared to stock browser in terms of buttery smoothness. I remember this as similar when i tested it in my SGSII... I thought on the SGSIII quadcores will make it liquid smooth but looks like it's the same. Back to stock browser. Samsung, please return back good ol' GB text reflow style |

Don't get me wrong. Google Chrome is awesome... loading time is indeed one of the fastest. But lagging in certain sites. Too obvious sometimes. I can't live with that.
Trying ICS browser... I think the text reflow is the same. It pre-autofits pages even when zoomed out. But looks and seems smooth. We'll see |
