Take it to the car wash. Those drive through carwash usually have cheap RM10 engine wash but I'd recommend you avoid them as the chemical they use might carrode your engine bay.

Those detailing centers might be better though. Yesterday I washed my engine for RM38. More expensive but it's really clean and they spray it with some protective chemical and spray dry the whole engine bay.

Anyway, Does anyone know if any shops who is willing to do some cable tidying behind the dashboard? I think after years of modding and adding of accessories, the strains or wires has now becomes bundles of wires and cable ties... All potong and sambung balik...

To all the Wira braders here, i need advices and helps blush.gif

First of all, my car's spec is

Proton Wira 1.3GLi
4G13 MPI Fuel Injection Model Year 2000
Mitsubishi Motor ECU

I'm driving a 1.3GLi. U all know la, the 1.3 variants does not come with an RPM gauge/meter.

My plan is to buy a Wira 1.5GLi's meter panel(dunno wat is it named) with RPM meter.

So my doubt is, is it a direct plug and play? Or need some wiring modification? Should i get the 1.5 meter which is also from an fuel injection model with the same Mitsubishi ECU?

Ur recommendations and advices will be highly appreciated notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Thumbs up for WIRA, seems its still popular amongst all proton models...cheers

Pack with considerable amount of horsepower for city-driving...

Spare parts still no too pricey compared to other models in the 1.5cc range...

But, the newer version which has ECU controller tend to be sensitive to dirt, so if u guys r planning to change air filter for a convincing rev tone...my 2 sense, get 1 that has very fine netting...u wouldn't wanna service n tune ur ECU every few months..

Different topic,

I tried the Red Shell , RON92 if i'm not mistaken, suprisingly, my Wira 1.6XLi cruises smoother with noticeable less noise from the engine. Anyways, will it have ill effects on the engine components in the long run with this fuel?

It shouldn't be a problem I guess since I didn't try that b4
Even the car manufacturer recommended Octane 95 and above
