QUOTE(Liquid Snake @ Jun 4 2013, 05:54 PM) So basically its the same panel technology with LM7600 is it? Yes. LG has to inflate the hz spec a bit to compete with other brands. 120hz LG panel is more expensive than 120hz samsung panel. But why? The inclusion of FPR micropolarizer layer. Sharp n samsung 3d only on software with the tv. The hardware is on the glasses. Lg passive 3d has hardware on the sceen. Price increase as it gets bigger. Yes same Hz spec but 7400 has a dual core CPU which is supposedly faster. The magic remote looks to be a better design

The dual core will reduce input lag and so more picture enhancement can b employed. But tv maker like to exagerate this. U wont get a twice faster engine like pc.
Lg selling point is cinema frame + passive. Pq imo still inferior to sony n samsung.
Sony improves further Lg ips panel by introducing Triluminous led or Tricolor led with new highend to bring pq close to plasma color.

LG might stablize their tv price like samsung. Now that lg had sony behind them for panel supplies.

Yup i think ur right about LG's selling point which is the cinema screen and the passive 3D. I myself was totally sold because of this. Lol. Almost change side to pana plasma but somehow chose the LG at last. Hehe

Hi all. There are lots of firmware updates for the LM series. Anybody has any info with regards to the usability of updates from other countries/continents such as Singapore or the US please? I noticed different versions of latest updates......thanks all.
