When Lm6700 was first released it was a great tv until they ruined it with firmware updated that adds a BUGGY Trumotion. This problem seems to affect on 60hz setup only like lm6200, lm6700, plasma pm4710 froms sets i tested last yr.

This bug prevents Trumotion from being fully off. Even if you did toggle off, you can still notice the soap opera effect. The only work around at that time was game mode.

Does anyone here updated to the latest fw. Is it fixed yet?

I think they fixed it for the latest batch. I turn off the Trumotion and the effect is gone. But unfortunately.....the judder is really bad. Fine with me i guess. Im not that particular about all this things smile.gif

When was the update may i know the fw revision? I need to convey this info. TIA.

The judder is not thst bad actually. Something that manufacturer seems not so vocal about is the added custom refresh 48hz for 24p, the call it film mode, true cinema, cinema smooth, real cinrma and etc. So yeah, most 60hz can do 24p without telecine judder that ee saw in older lcd sets.

Its under the tv settings. The top one is the picture settings. I think its the bottom or second last option. The one where u check the internet connection settings. This is what is in my head right now. I may be wrong tongue.gif

I'll check and confirm when im home later smile.gif

Being Trumotion 240hz means its using 120hz panel NOT a true 240hz. Cnet has verified this with lg.

200hz panel uses Trumotion 480hz.
