QUOTE(metalbod @ Jun 14 2013, 03:39 PM) for my best answer, try youtube, search lg lm9600 after getting your answer, try lg la8600, it shows answer to your question. final step, go to those outlet tat has these 2 models showing, use your bare eyes to get either 1 of your favourite. youre not regret. This post has been edited by Alexcsyan: Jun 16 2013, 04:09 AM |

tried to find outlet which has both lm9600 and la8600. still couldn't find any for the past one week. end up getting the lm9600 over the weekend. for a nano led (backlit), it didn't give me the wow reaction. the judder and blurring control (trumotion) is better than my previous 42ld. (given!)
use htpc to play movies. still trying to figure out how to setup the 3d on my htpc. |

(given!) great u bought a full array led tv. btw, how much u bought it?use htpc to play movies. still trying to figure out how to setup the 3d on my htpc. as what i know, u just need to connect your htpc with hdmi cable to your tv will do. 2nd u need to hav full hd movie content. last u need to switch on da 3d on your tv, wear da specs will do. if u feel not tat 3d, u can adjust the 3d depth in da settings. after all done, enjoy ya! |

got it for 7k. i think it's good deal, considering that this tv no longer being sold most everywhere (as it is 2012 - old). actually went to see samsung, philips, sharp, but stil end up wit lg passive 3d.
need to turn on stereoscopic 3d on my htpc video card. then nid to calibrate first time. but somehow it's too troublesome. stil figuring out easier way to do this without touching the nvidia control panel everytime. |

Just bought a LG 60LM6450.
Coming from a 7yrs old Panasonic Plasma, I was annoyed with 2 issues which was not present with the old Plasma. Watch mainly Astro HD and downloaded movies. 1. Backlight Bleeding. The 4 corners has torchlighting when watching letterboxed content in a dark room. Certain corners are brighter. Tried a bunch of settings (backlight/local dimmimg etc) to overcome the problem, the improvement is marginal and annoying. 2. Motion judder and ghosting. Certain Astro content judder more than some. Astro HD content seems to have more judder tried a bunch Trumotion and Real Cinema settings which does not help. Tried different HDMI cables to no avail. Any recommendation on what I should do. Am I too picky to be using a LED TV? Thanks. |

QUOTE(PMW @ Jun 25 2013, 09:39 PM) Just bought a LG 60LM6450. Well....thats why most AV enthusiasts choose Plasma over LED. Maybe the higher end models can eliminate this issues but not completely. Not much u can do about it. Im facing the same issues as well but i think i can live with it. And yeah....some Astro HD content like Food Network HD the judder is terrible....no idea why Coming from a 7yrs old Panasonic Plasma, I was annoyed with 2 issues which was not present with the old Plasma. Yes, plasma Tv definitely better in terms of picture quality. It just look more natural.
