need help here guys. it seems that i couldn't open messaging (force close every time). tried to clear cache and data, but still not working. any solutions to these? currently on cm9 20120619 with stock 3.0.32 kernel

Yes right but i would rather you not flash that rom at all. It's a time bomb if u make a mistake. And it does not have cwm.

Unlike previous checkrom, this one does not have cwm. So i m just wondering if your able to flash mods and tweaks without cwm.

Yes sir, cleared messaging app data and cache, still not worked. The problem occurred for long time already (I think since last month) but since this phone is my secondary phone, so now just got time to solve it. Forgot already what I did, I think I'd just update the nightly version only

Then just try update to latest nightly and only wipe cache and dalvik cache. I had not have any messaging problem with CM9. Been updating nightly every 2 - 3 days without wiping since May.

try a different massage app?

There are plenty of rom to try. I'm still using paranoid 1.0, jumping from crv6. Since its very stable, i wouldn't bother to upgrade. Since i don't have the time

No CWM? How to survive?

Yeah, everytime I'm updating nightly, then I'll wipe cache and dalvik cache but still after 3-4 times updating (update mine once in 3-4 weeks ), the problem still persists.

any recommendation? using this phone to do work and surfing only, that's why only now i'm serious about it

You should upgrade from 1.0 to atleast 1.4

Hi, I just now try the DPI setting under Paranoid setting 1.6a. Suddenly, my status/notification bar is lost from the Home Screen. But, I can see the status/notification bar from Lock Screen. Can anyone guide me how to reset it or DPI Setting? TQ.

go to settings/paranoid settings/statusbar style/change to phone UI

Yes I try all of them, and restart device few times but can't. May be I just now play with custom value then happen this thing. But, I can't revert back.
