QUOTE(antt00 @ Jul 13 2012, 01:43 PM) Yes. Yes sir, cleared messaging app data and cache, still not worked. The problem occurred for long time already (I think since last month) but since this phone is my secondary phone, so now just got time to solve it. Forgot already what I did, I think I'd just update the nightly version only Well you can try n wipe messaging app data first if you want. When did it start to FC anyway? What did you last do? |

QUOTE(antt00 @ Jul 13 2012, 03:35 PM) Then just try update to latest nightly and only wipe cache and dalvik cache. I had not have any messaging problem with CM9. Been updating nightly every 2 - 3 days without wiping since May. Yeah, everytime I'm updating nightly, then I'll wipe cache and dalvik cache but still after 3-4 times updating (update mine once in 3-4 weeks QUOTE(meazurali89 @ Jul 13 2012, 03:36 PM) any recommendation? using this phone to do work and surfing only, that's why only now i'm serious about it |

QUOTE(antt00 @ Jul 13 2012, 05:06 PM) so how is messaging? but i m on 0712 version no issue. maybe you got bad download. did u check md5 before flashing the 0712 version. unfortunately, messaging problem is still unsolved. somemore, play store also FC (exit automatically without option) Edit: was your previous messaging fc is like the app freeze and finally come out option to kill it or wait? there was a few version with that bug but was fixed quite sometime ago. just remembered it. how to check md5? so far updates that i downloaded from http://download.cyanogenmod.com had no problem at all. about the messaging problem, whenever i tried to read any sms, the apps closed itself and pop out screen written 'unfortunately, messaging has stop' with only 'ok' option came out. is it one of the bugs? |

QUOTE(antt00 @ Jul 13 2012, 07:27 PM) Eh. Why don't you just factory reset? If you want even more detailed you can go into cwm and wipe data, wipe system, wipe cache and dalvik cache and flash new rom. No need odin. 'Cause before this i'm familiar with odin only If full wipe by using ur metod, which version of cm9 i need to download? p/s : suddenly miss the old GB |
